ポリプロピレンコンパウンド海外新社設立について
日本ポリプロ株式会社（本社：東京都千代田区、社長：鈴木龍男、以下「当社」）は、
自動車生産の伸びが著しいメキシコ合衆国において、ポリプロピレンコンパウンドの
販売を行う現地法人を設立することを決定致しました。
現地法人は、当社の米国における 100%子会社である Mytex Polymers US Corp（米国
インディアナ州、以下「マイテックス」）が設立します。北米における自動車生産の大き
な伸びに加え、メキシコにおいては欧・米・日各自動車メーカーが相次いで進出してお
り、これらの需要に応えるため、現在マイテックスではフル生産が続いています。マイ
テックスは既に製造ラインの増設を決定していますが、メキシコにおいてもまずは販
売会社を設立し、同国の旺盛な需要に対応する体制を整えてまいります。将来的に
は現地での製造も視野に入れております。
当社グループは、日本、米国、タイ、インド及び中国に拠点を有していますが、現在策
定中の中期計画にもとづき、今後も各国・地域の需要の伸びに応じた生産拠点の最
適化や適宜能力の増強を図ってまいります。加えて海外の研究開発機能の強化や
親会社である三菱化学との連携も図り、事業展開のさらなるグローバル化を目指して
まいります。

JPP to Establish New Company in Mexico
Japan Polypropylene Corporation (JPP), a joint venture between Japan Polychem
Corporation (JPC) and JNC Corporation announced establishment of sales company in
Mexico, an emerging market of automotive industry, in 2015.
JPP continuously supports strong growth of our automotive customers demand in North
America. In United States, a new production line will be installed in our affiliate,
Mytex Polymers U.S. Corporation (Jeffersonville, IN) and come on stream this year.
Mytex has exported their products to Mexico and this time eventually a new company
will start operation as a sales office in Mexico with scope of future local compounding.
JPP continues to improve our global supply system for our customers with timely
capacity expansion at appropriate locations in growing regions. Additionally, JPP will
enhance its R&D function globally as well as maximize the collaboration with its
affiliate, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation for further global business expansion.
