人口推計における算出方法の概要
「人口推計」では，10月１日現在人口を基準人口として，その後の各月の人口の動きを他の人口関連
資料から得て，毎月１日現在の人口（総人口及び日本人人口）を算出している。
算出のための基本式は，次のとおりである。
総人口＝基準人口（総数）＋自然動態＊（日本人・外国人）＋社会動態＊＊（日本人・外国人）
日本人人口＝基準人口（日本人）＋自然動態＊（日本人）＋社会動態＊＊（日本人）
＋国籍の異動による純増減
（*自然動態＝出生児数－死亡者数，**社会動態＝入国者数－出国者数）
・「自然動態」については，「人口動態統計」(厚生労働省）による出生児数・死亡者数を用いている。
なお，最新推計月の３か月前と４か月前については速報値を，前月と前々月については基本的に前年
同月の数値を用いている。
・「社会動態」については，「出入国管理統計」(法務省）による日本人・外国人別の正規の入国者数・
出国者数を用いている。日本人については海外滞在期間が３か月以内の出入(帰)国者を，外国人につい
ては国内滞在期間が３か月以内の者を除いている。
なお，最新推計月の１か月前から５か月前については，基本的に前年同月の数値を用いている。
