アカデミック・スキルズ(火2限)の履修者の追加募集をします。
人数は若干名。
履修希望者は、下記の内容を英語で書いて担当者にメールで予め連絡し、そのうえで4月
14日(火)2限の授業(教室 来往舎 103/104)に必ず出席してインタビュー
を受けてください。履修許可となった場合は、履修修正期間に履修登録をしていただきま
す。履修許可は4月14日(火)中に出します。

Course Description:
The purpose of this course is to learn and practice the basic skills needed in
university-level studies such as knowing how to think logically, write clearly, and
speak coherently. The course language is English.
Students will learn the basic process involved in analyzing issues and presenting
arguments from various points of view. They will gather reliable information from
various types of sources, (2) evaluate and analyze the information, (3) form ideas
and arguments, and (4) express ideas effectively in debate form and academic writing.
The course will be activities-oriented and collaborative in nature.In the Spring
Semester we focus on group work in the spirit of "mutual teaching and learning (半
教半学)." The main activities will be discussion and debate.
Students will write short essay based on the debate themes.
We welcome students from diverse background to make the class lively and colorful.
NB: This course is limited to up to 20 students. Those who wish to enrol in this course
must attend the guidance session on Friday April 3, 2015, between 4:45-6:00 pm, at
Room D101, and take a screening test in the first class, on April 7th, 2015.
