Syllabuses and applicant’s qualifications required are as below:
(1) Beginners
: The textbook used is “Minna No Nihongo”, covering basic daily conversation,
reading & writing of Hiragana & Katakana.
(2) Elementary 1 : Able to read and write Hiragana or completed Beginners Level.
(3) Elementary 2 : Able to read and write Hiragana & Katakana or completed Elementary 1.
(4) Intermediate 3: Able to read and write Hiragana & Katakana or completed Intermediate 2
(5) Tokubetsu Course: Passed Japanese Proficiency Exam. Level 3, N4 or its equivalent.

☆ Applications made by phone or fax will not be entertained.
☆ Only JCKL Members or Employees of Corporate Members, aged over 12 are eligible to apply.
☆ Maximum of 20 students in a class, however, course will not be commenced if applicant is
less than 7 persons.
☆ Each level is a 3-term course and consists of 12 lessons respectively.
☆ For Corporate Member’s staff only – “Nominee’s signature” in the application form must be
signed by the nominee registered in our Corporate Member.
