Preparation of MWY Media :
1. Bring Legionella LC Medium Base to room temperature.
2. Aseptically add 10 ml of sterile distilled water to Legionella BCYE
Growth Supplement and dissolve.
3. Sterilely combine solutions from steps 1. and 2.
4. Dissolve Legionella MWY Selective Supplement in 2 ml of sterile
distilled water. Then sterilely add to solution from step 3, and stir well
to combine.
5. Aliquot 1 ml in sterile microtubes and store at -20℃.
Note: Microtip clogging with activated charcoal may occur.

● MWY 培地調製法
1. Legionella LC Medium Base を室温で溶解させる。
2. レジオネラ BCYE 発育サプリメントに滅菌蒸留水 10 ml を無菌的に添
加し溶解させる。
3. 1. に 2. を無菌的に添加する。
4. レジオネラ MWY 選択サプリメントに 2 ml の滅菌蒸留水を加えて溶
解し、3. に無菌的に添加し、十分に撹拌する。
5. スターラーで撹拌しながらマイクロチューブに 1 ml ずつ分注し、
－ 20℃で保存する。
（活性炭によるチップの目詰まりに注意すること。
）
