第一部（14:00-15:00）能動的な読みを実現するために
学習者は、日常的にさまざまなテキストをさまざまな場面で読んでいます。母語による読みの体験や知識を活かし、
学習者が持っている読む力を最大限発揮するためには、授業でどんな工夫が必要でしょうか。ここでは学習者の能動
的な読みを実現するための方策について、具体例を見ながら考えたいと思います。
第二部（15:20-17:00）ワークショップ「読む活動のデザイン」
JF スタンダードの Can-do を利用して、読む活動を組み立てます。旅行ガイドやイベント情報、ニュースや、ブログな
ど、インターネット上の素材を使い、読む目的、何を読み取るのか、どうやって読むか、結果をどう使うか、そして
読んだ経験をどうふりかえるかなど、一連の「読む活動」をデザインします。またこのような活動を日頃の授業にど
のように取り入れられるかについても話し合いたいと思います。

Part 1 (14:00-15:00): How to implement active reading in a Japanese language class
Every learner reads various texts in their own language, but how is it possible to transfer their knowledge and experience of
reading into a Japanese language context? In this session we will examine some example tasks and discuss how to implement
active reading in learners in a Japanese language class.
Part 2 (15:20-17:00): Workshop: Designing a reading activity
The JF Standard for Japanese Language Education (JF Standard) introduces reading tasks in each stage. Based on JF Standard,
participants will design reading activities using various materials taken from the internet, such as tour guide brochures, event
information, news, blogs etc. We will focus particularly on examining the purpose of reading, how to read the text, what to do
after reading, and how to reflect on the experience of reading. Finally, we will discuss how to introduce today’s results into our
classrooms.

Sono Habuto
Japanese Language Specialist at Japanese Cultural Institute, the Japan Foundation Cologne, Germany
Sono Habuto started work at Japanese Language Education at AJALT (Association of Japanese Language Teaching) and
subsequently worked at Humboldt University in Germany on behalf of the Japan Foundation. Since 1997, she has worked at the
Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute Kansai and taken part in developing language courses and teaching materials for
professionals, such as diplomats and researchers.
