アブストラクト
本研究では, パニック症患者と健常者それぞれに, 恐怖心を与えたときの自律神経反応について, 5 分間の心拍変
動を計測することにより比較した. 被験者として, パニック症患者を 27 名, 健常者を 20 名募った. 被験者には, 心
拍変動の計測が行われる直前まで安静状態を保ってもらった. そして, 計測中は 15 枚の恐怖画像を提示することに
よって恐怖心を与えた. 心拍変動を周波数解析し, 高周波成分 (HF: 0.15∼0.4Hz), 低周波成分 (LF: 0.04∼0.15Hz)
のスペクトル, そして, それらの比 (LF/HF) について検討した. 安静時の心拍変動は, パニック症患者, 健常者と
もに大きな違いはみられなかった. 一方で, 恐怖心を与えている間では, 健常者に比べ, パニック症患者の LF に大
きなスペクトルが見られ, LF/HF についても大きな値が得られた. 次に, LF と HF のスペクトル, そして LF/HF
の 3 つに対し, 被験者別 (パニック症患者と健常者), コンディション別 (安静時と恐怖画像提示時) に比較するた
め, 二元配置分散分析を行った. 結果として LF, HF, LF/HF 全てに関して, 被験者別 (F=12.21; Pb.01), コンディ
ション別 (F=14.21; Pb.001) ともに有意差を確認することが出来た. 本研究により, パニック症患者は健常者に比
べ, 恐怖心を刺激する画像に対し強い共感を示すことが分かった.
