日本国債部門の事業統合に関するお知らせ

さてこの度当社セントラル短資証券株式会社（以下「ＣＴＳ」という）とＩＣＡＰ東短
証券株式会社（以下「ＩＴＳ」という）は平成 24 年 1 月 4 日付で両社が行う日本国債及
び日本国債のオプション取引の仲介業務に係る事業を統合（ＩＴＳを譲渡会社、ＣＴＳを譲
受会社とする事業譲渡）することで合意いたしました
なお本事業統合と合わせてＣＴＳは新たにＩＴＳの現株主である東短ホールディングス
株式会社及びガーバン・インターナショナル（ＩＣＡＰグループ）の出資を受け「セントラ
ル東短証券株式会社」に商号を変更し、同時に本店の移転を行いますので併せてご報告いた
します（下記を御参照下さい）
事業統合を契機に顧客基盤の拡充により国債流通市場において流動性の向上に寄与する
と共により一層のサービスの向上によりお客様から信頼され満足いただけるよう努めてま

Dear Valued Customer,
Announcement Regarding the Business Combination of
Our Japanese Government Bond Divisions
Thank you for your continued support of our business.
We are pleased to announce that Central Tanshi Securities Co., Ltd. (CTS) and ICAP Totan
Securities Co., Ltd (ITS) have agreed to combine our respective operations in Japanese
Government Bonds and JGB options businesses as of January 4th 2012 to be structured as
a business transfer with ITS being the transferring company and CTS as the receiving
company.
In connection with this business combination, CTS will welcome the existing owners of ITS,
Totan Holdings Co., Ltd. and Garban International (a subsidiary of ICAP plc), as new
shareholders and will rename the company as “Central Totan Securities Co., Ltd.”
At the
same time, we will be moving our headquarters as noted below.
Utilizing the opportunity presented by this business combination, we hope to continue our
efforts to build on the trust and satisfaction of our customers by improving the services we
provide and contributing to increased liquidity in the JGB market.
