（備考）① 平成17年1月より、国際収支統計関連の見直しに伴い、本統計における対内及び対外の分類基準を、建値通貨から証券発行体の居住性に変更し、「対外及び
対内証券売買契約等の状況（指定報告機関ベース）」とするとともに、商品別区分の拡充（短期債の新規公表）を行った。
② 指定報告機関とは、「外国為替の取引等の報告に関する省令」第21条により財務大臣が指定した銀行等、金融商品取引業者、保険会社、投資信託委託会社
及び資産運用会社をいう。
③ 平成26年1月より、投資ファンドに係る取引については、それまで中長期債に含まれた契約型投資信託（オープンエンド型）も含め、「株式・投資ファンド持分」に
計上される。
④ 四捨五入のため、合計に合わないことがある。
⑤ ネットのプラス（＋）は取得超、マイナス（－）は処分超を表す。
(Notes) 1 Following a revision of balance of payments related statistics, the former "Securities Investment at Home and Abroad (Contract Basis, Monthly)" is revised as
"International Transactions in Securities (Monthly; based on reports from designated major investors)" starting from January 2005. In the new statistics,
portfolio investments are classified based on the residence of issuers of securities, whereas the "Outward / Inward" classification in the previous statistics was made
based on securities' currency of denomination. In addition, data on transactions of short-term debt securities have become available.
2 "Designated Major Investors" indicate banks, financial instruments firms, insurance companies, investment trust management companies and asset management
companies , etc. that were designated by the Minister of Finance in accordance with Article 21 of the Ministerial Ordinance Concerning Report on
Foreign Exchange transactions, etc.
3 Transactions related to investment funds will be recorded under the　new items "Equity and investment fund shares" starting from January 2014.
4 Totals may not add due to rounding.
5 International Transactions in Securities show net acquisition with a plus sign(＋) and net disposition with a minus sign(－).

3 In view of the amendment of the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and of relevant ordinances that took place in line with the enforcement of
the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act on September 30,2007,the categories of investors,securities companies and investment trust companies,
were changed to financial instruments firms and investment trust management companies,respectively.
4 Figures in Investment trust management companies include figures of asset management companies.
5 Figures in Others include figures of nonfinancial corporations,households, and NPISHs.
