（備考）① 平成17年1月より、国際収支統計関連の見直しに伴い、本統計における対内及び対外の分類基準を、建値通貨から証券発行体の居住性に変更し、「対外及び
対内証券売買契約等の状況（指定報告機関ベース）」とするとともに、商品別区分の拡充（短期債の新規公表）を行った。
② 指定報告機関とは、「外国為替の取引等の報告に関する省令」第21条により財務大臣が指定した銀行等、金融商品取引業者、保険会社、投資信託委託会社
若しくは資産運用会社をいう。
③ 四捨五入のため、合計に合わないことがある。
④ ネットのマイナス(-)は資本の流出を示す。
(Notes) 1 Following a revision of balance of payments related statistics, the former "Securities Investment at Home and Abroad (Contract Basis, Monthly)" is revised as
"International Transactions in Securities (Monthly; based on reports from designated major investors)" starting from January 2005. In the new statistics,
portfolio investments are classified based on the residence of issuers of securities, whereas the "Outward / Inward" classification in the previous statistics was made
based on securities' currency of denomination. In addition, data on transactions of money market instruments have become available.
2 "Designated Major Investors" indicate banks, financial instruments firms, insurance companies, investment trust management companies and asset management
companies , etc. that were designated by the Minister of Finance in accordance with Article 21 of the Ministerial Ordinance Concerning Report on
Foreign Exchange transactions, etc.
3 Totals may not add due to rounding.
4 Negative figures (-) of "Net" show capital outflow.
