Silvia Maria ROVERE
Laureata con lode e menzione alla Facoltà di Economia di Torino, Silvia Rovere ha maturato vent’anni di esperienza nel private equity e nella finanza immobiliare, di cui dodici nella strutturazione e gestione di fondi immobiliari per oltre €6,5 mld.
Attualmente è AD di Morgan Stanley SGR S.p.A., società di gestione di fondi immobiliari del Gruppo Morgan
Stanley.
Dal 2003 al 2005 è stata CFO di Patrimonio dello Stato S.p.A. (MEF), con responsabilità sul programma dei
fondi immobiliari pubblici (Fondo Patrimonio Uno e Fondo Immobili Pubblici) e sugli strumenti di valorizzazione e privatizzazione del patrimonio dello Stato. In seguito è stata a Londra come Head of Business Development del Gruppo Aedes e dal 2009 al 2013 è stata DG di REAM SGR, dove ha portato a termine con successo prima la fase di turnaround e poi il piano triennale di crescita, passando da €80 mln a €1,2 mld di AUM
con ricavi e redditività in costante crescita.
Silvia Rovere ha contribuito allo sviluppo della finanza socialmente responsabile avendo costituito e gestito
due dei primi fondi di social housing in Italia.
Accanto all’attività professionale ha costantemente svolto attività accademica e di ricerca per, tra gli altri, il
Dip. di Economia Politica e il Dip. di Diritto Commerciale della Facoltà di Economia di Torino, il Centro L. Einaudi di Torino e il Master di Finanza Immobiliare della SDA Bocconi.
È Consigliere di Presidenza di Assoimmobiliare, Presidente del Collegio dei Probiviri di Federimmobiliare,
membro del Comitato Esecutivo di ULI Italia e del Comitato Direttivo di Fondazione Res Pubblica.
She graduated cum laude and with honourable mention at the University of Economics, in Turin. She has been working for twenty years in the private equity and real estate finance sector. She spent twelve years in the
property funds management for over 6,5 billions euros.
She is Managing Director of Morgan Stanley SGR, a property funds management company belonging to Morgan Stanley Group.
Since 2003 to 2005 she was CFO of Patrimonio dello Stato S.p.A. (MEF) and was responsible for the program
related to the public real estate funds (Fondo Patrimonio Uno e Fondo Immobili Pubblici) and to the vehicles
of development and privatization of the State’s assets. Then she was Head of Business Development for Aedes Group in London and since 2009 to 2013 she was General Manager of REAM SGR, where she closed
successfully the turnaround first phase and then the triennial growth plan, moving from 80 millions to 1,2
billions euros with proceeds and profitability constantly in growth.
She contributed to the development of the socially responsible finance, establishing and managing the first
two Italian social housing property funds.
In addition to the professional career she has always carried out academic and research activity for many
institutions, as the Political Economy and Business Law Departments at the University of Economics, Einaudi
Center in Turin and the Real Estate Finance Master of SDA Bocconi.
She is advisor of Assoimmobiliare Management Administration, President of Probiviri Board of Federimmobiliare, member of the Executive Commettee of ULI Italia and Managing Board of Res Pubblica Foundation.
