VISA FOR STUDYING PURPOSES IN ITALY ACADEMIC YEAR 2014/2015 Students registered on line with an Italian university are requested to apply for preenrolment at the Italian Embassy’s consular office. To this end, in addition to the same set of documents which were sent to the concerned University, the following documents are required: 1. The diploma degree with a minimum score of 60/100. Upon agreement with Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the degrees will be checked by the HEC 2. For university courses held in English, an International English Language Testing System “IELTS” certificate (score band 6.0 for the Master’s and 5.5 for Undergraduate). Please be advised that for university courses held in Italian, an appropriate knowledge of the Italian language is required. It will be verified by the Italian Embassy’s visa section through a brief interview upon call. For the signature of the application, which needs to take place at the Italian Embassy’s consular section, the students are requested to schedule an appointment through the call center tel. 0900-31111 (through landline) or 8111 (through mobile). Pre-enrolled students can apply for study visa attaching all requested supporting documents. Applications are to be dropped only at GERRY’S offices in Pakistan.
