INSTALLAZIONE INSTALLATION E’ necessario che tutte le operazioni relative all’installazione, alla regolazione, all’adattamento al tipo di gas disponibile, vengano eseguite da personale qualificato, secondo le norme UNI-CIG 7129 - 7131. Fig./Abb. 5 Fig./Abb. 6 11 7. Evacuazione aria viziata 7. 14 DATI TECNICI GAS - GAS-KENNDATEN IT Portata termica kW BRUCIATORE Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 Iniettore By-pass Gas propano G31/37 mbar Portata g/h Iniettore By-pass nominale ridotta nominale ridotta Ø mm Ø mm nominale ridotta Ø mm Ø mm 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 72.8 127.3 181.8 218.2 25.4 36.4 40 47.3 0.48 0.64 0.75 0.83 0.29 0.34 0.38 0.41 71.4 125 178.8 214.4 25 35.7 39.3 46.5 0.48 0.64 0.75 0.83 0.29 0.34 0.38 0.41 Iniettore By-pass Spritzdüse Nebenleitung Portata termica kW BRUCIATORE Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 Gas butano G30/30 mbar Portata g/h Gas metano G20/20 mbar Portata l/h nominale ridotta nominale ridotta Ø mm Ø mm 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 95.2 166.6 238.0 285.6 33.3 47.6 52.4 61.9 0.72 0.95 1.12 1.23 regolato regolato regolato regolato Spritzdüse Nebenleitung DE Wärmedurchfluß kW Flüssiggas G30-G31/50 mbar Durchfluß g/h BRENNER Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 nominal reduziert nominal reduziert Ø mm Ø mm 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 72.8 127.3 181.8 218.2 25.4 36.4 40 47.3 0.43 0.58 0.70 0.72 0.25 0.30 0.34 0.37 Spritzdüse Nebenleitung Wärmedurchfluß kW Methangas G20/20 mbar Durchfluß l/h Methangas G25/20 mbar Durchfluß l/h BRENNER Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 nominal reduziert nominal reduziert Ø mm Ø mm nominal reduziert Ø mm Ø mm 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 95.2 166.6 238.0 285.6 33.3 47.6 52.4 61.9 0.72 0.95 1.12 1.23 reguliert reguliert reguliert reguliert 110.7 193.7 276.8 332.2 38.7 55.4 60.9 72 0.79 1.05 1.25 1.40 reguliert reguliert reguliert reguliert Spritzdüse Nebenleitung Spritzdüse Nebenleitung AT Wärmedurchfluß kW Flussiggas G30-G31/50 mbar Durchfluß g/h Methangas G20/20 mbar Durchfluß l/h BRENNER Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 nominal reduziert nominal reduziert Ø mm Ø mm nominal reduziert Ø mm Ø mm 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 72.8 127.3 181.8 218.2 25.4 36.4 40 47.3 0.43 0.58 0.70 0.72 0.25 0.30 0.34 0.37 95.2 166.6 238.0 285.6 33.3 47.6 52.4 61.9 0.72 0.95 1.12 1.23 reguliert reguliert reguliert reguliert 15 DATI TECNICI ELETTRICI - ELEKTRISCHE DATEN Tipo di piastra elettrica Elektroplatten Tens. The manufacturer is not liable for improper use of the appliance or for damages deriving from the inefficient or non-connection to the earthing system. TECHNICAL AND STRUCTURAL FEATURES CARACTERISTIQUES TECHNIQUES ET DE CONSTRUCTION The hobs and the components are made in 19/10 chrome-nickel stainless steel. Each gas burner consists of a controlled cap flame divider, a Venturi cone burner, pan supports and self-contained conveyors. The special construction of the controlled cap flame divider guarantees the re-lighting of all the flames in case they are extinguished even partially. The special shape of the pan supports ensures the perfect stability of the vessels. The self-contained conveyor isolates and protects the flame (from air in the intake and compression) and feeds the burner with the air needed for combustion. The hobs are equipped with thermoelectric safety device to ensure the immediate stop of gas delivery in case the flame goes out. After removing the knobs, the control panels, the burners and the rings, the top of the hob lifts easily. The inside inspection for periodic checks or cleaning is therefore simplified. The tubes distributing the gas to the burners are made in 19/10 chrome-nickel stainless steel. The wires that convey the electric current from the spark generators to the spark plugs are in tinned copper with 7 rheophores, covered in teflon and with a fiber glass lining. 3 DIRECTIONS FOR USE OF GAS BURNERS CLOSED FERME Keep an eye on children during use and make sure they do not touch the surfaces and that they keep distant from the appliances when hot and until not completely cooled down. To ignite the burners press the knob and turn it to the large flame position. After ignition, hold the knob down for just a few moments to allow the safety device to warm up. MAXIMUM MAXIMUM On the fascia panel in correspondence to each knob is marked the position of the burner controlled by the knob. MINIMUM MINIMUM It is important that the diameter of the cooking pot is suitable to the capacity of the burner not to compromise the high efficiency and consequently cause useless waste of energy. When boiling turn knob to minimum position. Always use pots provided with lids. Adapter grid Together with the appliance is supplied, according to the models, an adapter grid to be used exclusively on the auxiliary burner (small one). Grille réductrice L’ appareil est fourni, suivant les modèles, avec une réduction pour grille à utiliser exclusivement sur le brûleur auxiliaire (petit). 4 DIRECTIONS FOR USE OF HOT PLATES NORMES POUR L'EMPLOI DES PLAQUES ÉLECTRIQUES The hot plate is switched on by rotating the knob to the position wanted; the numbers from 1 to 6 indicate the selection of the operating temperature within the range list. The higher the number the higher the temperature. When using the hot plates you must: - dry the bottom of the cooking pot before placing it on top of the plate - avoid switching on the hot plate without placing a cooking pot (except the first time when they must remain lit without cooking pot for three minutes at minimum temperature). This operation must be repeated when the hot plates have not been used for a long period of time - use only pots and pans with flat bottom - always use cooking pots that completely cover the surface of the plate. Functioning is indicated by a red indicator light. HOT PLATE INSTRUCTIONS TABLE 3 4 Slow boiling, e.g. : boiled meat, pasta, soups, simmering of roasts, stews. For melting. All parts in stainless steel will remain like new (except for the normal burnishing of the grids and the cap flame divider due to heat) if a good cleaning method is adopted. Use neutral detergents and water and avoid acid-based detergents (chloric, hydrofluoric, phosphoric and hydrochloric), abrasive scrubbers or iron scouring pads (that leave iron residue on the stainless steel causing it to rust), nor should detergents containing abrasive substances that can scratch the steel surfaces be used. During cleaning check that the gas nozzle holes and of the cap flame divider are not clogged. Periodically carry out a thorough cleaning of the spark plugs (ceramic element and electrode) to avoid ignition problems. Furthermore keep the burner thermocouples clean to ensure the proper functioning of the safety valves. Check them often and if necessary clean them with a wet cloth, remove encrustations with a scouring pad, but do not use metal implements. After cleaning, reassemble the whole making sure that grids, burners and cap flame dividers all fit perfectly into place. The hot plates, where they are installed on the hob, must be brushed clean without wetting them to avoid rusting of the heating elements. The gasket on the control panel must not be removed. In case of removal reposition it properly. 6 INSTALLATION INSTALLATION It is important that all the operations relative to the installation, adjustment, conforming to the type of gas available, are performed by qualified personnel in compliance with national laws in force, CP344 standard, and all recognized by the Corgi Institute. Unpack the hob, removing all the wrapping and protecting material. All the kitchen units that house the built-in appliances must have holes corresponding to the dimensions and position indicated. Before placing the hob into place, make sure that the packing strip is housed in its seat to guarantee perfect seal. The hob is then fastened to the kitchen unit by tightening the special fasteners located underneath the hob. Connect to mains by plugging the special power cord with die-cast three-pole connector into the power outlet, accessible to the user after installation has been completed. The appliance must be earthed. All electrical parts are 230 V ~ - 50 Hz. Our company is not liable for damages to people or things caused by the faulty or deficient connection of the earthing line. The connection must be performed in compliance with national laws in force. We suggest that the hob should be placed underneath a suction hood or an exhaust/air cleaning system at a minimum distance of 60 cm and maximum 80 cm. P45-204. Warning: this appliance can be installed to operate in permanently ventilated premises in compliance with national laws in force BS 5440 of 1976. 1. Air volume It is important that in the premises where the gas appliances are installed (type A or B, or cooking appliances) flows as much air as needed by the regular combustion of the gas and of the ventilation of the premise. It is therefore important to remember that the combustion of 1 m3 of gas requires about the following air volumes: Manufactured gas Natural gas LPG LPG mixture (25%) - air LPG mixture (50%) - air (HS = 18,8 MJ/m3) (HS = 38,6 MJ/m3) (HS = 101,8 MJ/m3) (HS = 27,2 MJ/m3) (HS = 56,5 MJ/m3) 1. Il est utile de rappeler que la combustion d’1 m3 de gaz demande environ les volumes d’air suivants: 5 m3 11 m3 30 m3 8 m3 16 m3 - gaz en bouteille - gaz naturel - LPG - mélange LPG (25%) - air - mélange LPG (50%) - air For appliances with draft baffle - windproof device the values of the air volumes must be increased according to the feature of the device. (HS = 18,8 MJ/m3) (HS = 38,6 MJ/m3) (HS = 101,8 MJ/m3) (HS = 27,2 MJ/m3) (HS = 56,5 MJ/m3) 5 m3 11 m3 30 m3 8 m3 16 m3 Pour les appareils avec dispositif brise-tirage anti-vent, les valeurs des volumes d’air doivent être majorés suivant les caractéristiques du dispositif. 2. Air inflow Natural inflow of air must occur directly through: 2. Arrivée de l’air - permanent openings on walls of the premises - ventilation ducts, single or ramified network The ventilation air must be collected directly from outside, far from pollution sources. L’arrivée naturelle de l’air doit s’effectuer par voie directe à travers: Indirect ventilation is also possible, through collection of air from adjacent premises as per the standards and limitations described in point 6. Warning: - The use of a gas cooking appliance produces heat and moisture in the premises in which it is installed. Make sure to provide proper room ventilation keeping air outlets open or by installing a ducted hood. Avertissements! - The heavy duty application of an appliance requires additional ventilation, for example the opening of a window or a more efficient ventilation by increasing mechanical suction power where available. 8 3. Direct natural ventilation 3. Ventilation naturelle directe Openings on outer wall of the premise to be ventilated (fig. 1 and 2). These openings must meet the following requirements: Ouvertures sur les murs extérieurs du local à ventiler (fig. 1 et 2). Ces ouvertures doivent satisfaire les conditions suivantes: a) having a passage with total net through cross-section of at least 6 cm2 for each kW of thermal capacity installed, with a minimum of 100 cm2 a) avoir une section libre totale nette de passage d’au moins 6 cm2 pour chaque kW de débit thermique installé avec un minimum de 100 cm2 b) be made in such a way that the openings, on either side of the wall cannot be blocked b) être réalisées de manière que les orifices d’ouverture aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur du mur ne puissent pas être bouchés c) be protected with grids for e.g., metal screens etc. so as to not reduce the cross-section mentioned above c) être protégées par exemple par des grilles, un grillage métallique etc. sans pour autant réduire la section utile indiquée plus haut d) be located almost flush with the floor so as to avoid hindering the correct operation of the combustion discharge devices: in case this cannot be done, the cross-section of the ventilation openings must be increased by 50%. d) être situées à une hauteur proche du niveau du sol sans gêner le fonctionnement correct des dispositifs d’évacuation des produits de la combustion; là où cette position n’est pas possible, il faudra augmenter d’au-moins 50% la section des ouvertures de ventilation. 4. Single ventilation ducts 4. Conduits de ventilation séparés In case of comburent air feed through the ducts (fig. 3), the available draft, produced by the appliance installed and the relative combustion products exhaust, must be greater than the sum of the resistances offered by the ducts (friction resistance, resistance for possible direction changes, throttles etc.). The ventilation ducts must run horizontally and vertically; the sections that run horizontally must be of minimum lenght. The unions between horizontal and vertical duct sections must not have narrower cross-section and sharp bends. The union angle between the axes of two consecutive duct lenghts must not be less than 90°. The air inlet in the premise to be ventilated must be located down low and in such a position that it does not interfere with the discharge of the combustion products and it must also be protected by a grid or screen. 5. Ramified network ventilation ducts 5. Conduits de ventilation collectifs ramifiés In case of comburent air feed through ramified network ducts, the sum of the resistances offered by such ducts (friction resistance, resistance for possible direction changes, throttles etc.) can be equal to 10% maximum of the draught available, produced by the different appliances installed on different levels and by the relative exhaust system of the combustion products. The ramified network ventilation ducts must run vertically only with up flow (fig. 4). The air inlet in the premise to be ventilated must be located down low and in such a position that it does not interfere with the discharge of the combustion products and it must also be protected by a grid or screen. 9 Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Fig. 3 10 Fig. 4 6. Natural indirect ventilation 6. Ventilation naturelle indirecte Indirect ventilation is also possible, through collection of air from adjacent premise (fig. 5) as long as: - the adjacent premise features direct ventilation, in compliance with a), b) and c) of point 3 - in the premise to be ventilated, the appliances installed are connected to exhaust systems - the adjacent premise is not a bedroom nor is it of common every day usage - the adjacent premise is not hazardous to fire, such as garages, warehouses fuel depot, etc. - the adjacent premise is not vacuum as to the premise to be ventilated due to reverse draught (the reverse draught can be caused by the presence in the premise of another working usage appliance with any type of fuel, a fireplace, or any exhaust system for which an air inlet has not been provided) - the air flow of the adjacent premise up to the one to be ventilated occurs freely through permanent openings having overall net cross-section not less that the one indicated in point 3. Such openings can also be obtained by increasing the clearance between the door and the floor. Fig. 5 Fig. 6 11 7. Exhaust of stale air 7. Evacuation de l’air vicié In the premises where gas appliances are installed it may be necessary, in addition to the inlet of comburent air, to the exhaust of stale air, with consequent inlet of another equal quantity of clean air (fig. 6). If the exhaust of the stale air occurs with a mechanical means (electric fan) the following conditions will have to be observed: Dans les locaux où sont installés des appareils à gaz, en plus de l’introduction d’air comburant, on peut avoir besoin d’éliminer également l’air vicié, en introduisant par conséquent le même volume d’air propre et non vicié (fig. 6). Si l’évacuation de l’air vicié est effectué à l’aide d’un moyen mécanique (électroventilateur), il faudra respecter les conditions suivantes: a) if in the premise is present an outlet duct not in use, it must be closed a) si le local possède un conduit d’évacuation ordinaire hors service, il faut le boucher b) The ventilation opening of the premise in which have been installed gas appliances must be increased in compliance with the maximum air discharge needed by the electric fan, according to the following table: b) l’orifice de ventilation du local où sont installés les appareils à gaz doit être augmenté en fonction du débit d’air maximum nécessaire à l’électroventilateur, d’après le tableau suivant: Maximum discharge in m3/h Air inlet speed in m/s Air passage additional net cross section in cm2 Débit maximum en m3/h up to 50 over 50 - 100 over 100 - 150 1 1 1 140 280 420 Jusqu’à 50 au-delà de 50 ÷100 au-delà de 100 ÷150 c) the electric fan must not influence the correct exhaust of the combustion products in case of appliances that collect the combustion air in the room. This should be checked through a draught test by making the fan work at maximum speed and the gas appliance at maximum and minimum rated power stated by the manufacturer. Furthermore, in case the appliance is connected to a ramified network flue, the electric fan running at maximum speed together with the appliance switched off, must not cause a vacuum in the premise as to the stack itself. Note 1 - If the solenoid valve is installed in a premise without openings, the necessary air inflow must take place through a ventilation duct, or directly from an adjacent premise, provided with adequate opening. If in this last premise is installed a gas appliance, the necessary ventilation air will be the one for the appliance increased by the one necessary for the presence of the electric fan. Note 2 - The actual discharge of an electric fan is in accordance to the volume of the room to be ventilated, bear in mind that for a kitchen the hourly air change is 3 5 times its volume. 12 CONNECTION TO GAS SYSTEM Fig. 7 Our hobs have been designed for methane gas functioning at a rated pressure of 20 mbar and must be connected to the gas supply system in accordance with BS 5386 part. 4.The hobs are outfitted with tapered coupling (art. 1255 with gas threading in compliance with ISO 7-1 standard with 0509 gasket inserted, in compliance with national laws in force) for connection as in (fig. 9). The hob is designed for methane gas connection at a pressure of 20 mbar (as the label attached to the cooker shows). If you need to use liquid gas (LPG), replace the existing nozzles using suitable ones supplied with the appliance and enclosed with the instructions. First, remove the pan racks and burners (fig. 11). To adjust the minimum setting, turn the cock to the low-flame position (fig. 14), remove the control panel and tighten the bypass screws located next to the gas cocks all the way (fig. 1213). To tighten, turn them clockwise (fig. 12-13). The control panel may be lifted after having removed all the knobs and loosened the two screws that fasten it (fig. 12). To make sure the appliance is operating properly, light the burners and switch to low flame and high flame back and forth a few times (fig.14). Reassemble the burners, pan racks and control panel. Finally, change the rating label in four languages attached to the cooker using the suitable one, supplied with the appliance, for the gas being utilized. After completing the adjustment make sure that the knobs hold the lock springs properly when you reassemble them. If the spring protrudes or escapes, fit it properly inside the knob socket. 14 LUBRICATION - GREASING OF THE GAS COCKS Lubrication and greasing of the cocks: with time and wear the cock may have difficulty in turning or either jam completely. Maintenance, cleaning and lubrication should be done by an authorised technician from the manufacturing company, the latter will supply the genuine spare parts. For no reason should the above operation be carried out by the user. Proceed as follows: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) loosen the screws of the nipple (a ) withdraw the plug with care ( b ) wash the plug using a cloth and some thinner (trichloroethane - trichlorethylene) grease the plug using exclusively the recommended lubricants (ROCOL HT - OPTIMOL HT2 EP). reassemble the plug, position the relative rod-nipple unit and check the position tighten the screws of the nipple perform a few opening and closing manoeuvres A seal test must also be performed with special detectors avoiding the search of possible leaks through flame or immersion tests. 15 TECHNICAL DATA FOR GAS - DONNEES TECHNIQUES GAZ GB - FR Thermic flow rate kW Débit thermique kW rated reduced rated reduced réduit nominal réduit 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 72.8 127.3 181.8 218.2 25.4 36.4 40 47.3 Methan gas/ Gaz métane G 20/20 mbar Propane gas/ Gaz propane G31/37 mbar By-pass Buse nominal Thermic flow rate kW Débit thermique kW Injector Buse By-pass Flow rate g/h / Débit g/h Ø mm Ø mm 0.48 0.64 0.75 0.83 0.29 0.34 0.38 0.41 Injector rated reduced nominal réduit 71.4 125 178.8 214.4 25 35.7 39.3 46.5 Ø mm Ø mm 0.48 0.64 0.75 0.83 0.29 0.34 0.38 0.41 By-pass Buse Flow rate l/h / Débit l/h BURNER BRULEUR Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 Injector Flow rate g/h / Débit g/h BURNER BRULEUR Ø 50 Ø 70 Ø 85 Ø 100 Butan gas/ Gaz butane G30/28 mbar rated reduced rated reduced nominal réduit nominal réduit 1.00 1.75 2.50 3.00 0.35 0.50 0.55 0.65 95.2 166.6 238.0 285.6 33.3 47.6 52.4 61.9 Ø mm Ø mm 0.72 0.95 1.12 1.23 adjusted réglé adjusted réglé TECHNICAL DATA FOR ELECTRICS - DONNEES TECHNIQUES ELECTRIQUES GB - FR Voltage Type of hot plate Type de plaque électrique Tension Volts Thermically protected rapid hot plate Ø 145 Plaque Ø 145 rapide thermo-protégée 230 ~ Position No.1 W Position No.2 W Position No.3 W Position No.4 W Position No.5 W Position No.6 W TOTAL WATT Déclic N°1 W Déclic N°4 W Déclic N°3W Déclic N°5 W Déclic N°6 W TOTALS WATTS Déclic N°2 W 135 165 250 16 500 750 1500 1500 CONNECTION OF HOT PLATE BRANCHEMENT PLAQUE ELECTRIQUE KNOB IGNITION CONNECTION CONNEXION ALLUMAGE DU BOUTON 17 ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM ART. 5068/4G1E AM - SCHEMA ELECTRIQUE ART. 5068/4G1E AM Key CA MO PR CB GS MG C CP MC SR R Legende Power supply cord-cross-section 3x1 Terminal board item PA 299 Rapid hot plate Burner spark plugs Arc generator for ignition of burners Earthing on generator support fastening screw Commutator Series of push button switches for knob ignition Control board earthing Red indicator light (hot plate "on") Resistance 4W 27K WK8 CA MO PR CB GS MG C CP MC SR R 18 Câble d'alimentation section 3x1 Porte-bornes art.
