LOW PRODUCT DETECTION EXPLAINED
•Camera is triggered by contrast differences with respect to crossbelt
• Dark, non-reflecting products will not be detected
• Best detection position is in the middle of crossbelt
• Red Laser light is used for contrast detection
•Normal PEC is always leading, LPD detection is therefore only for products;
•<8mm (SCS700)
•<10mm (SCS1500)
•Low products only single cell loading
•Otherwise two products will be detected

OUR OBJECTIVE WITH THE CURRENT LPD
The LPD function is to detect objects which cannot be detected
by a standard PEC.
