1st Indoor Lowland Championships Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2014 We Invite racers that are registered in one of the Lowland nations (GBR, BEL, NED, and LUX) to compete at the 1st Indoor Lowland Championships held at “Snow Valley” Peer Belgium. This event is organized by the Lowland nations with the idea to bring the Lowland nations closely together. Entry Criteria: Each race is open to racers registered with their respective home nation meeting the age group categories (U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U21, SEN and MAS. Each Nation has a specific quota (GBR, NED and BEL will have a quota of 100 (60 ±5 male and 40 ±5 female) Lux will have a quota of 30. Race entry information: The entry fee for this event is €25/day Each Nation has to send their entries the 1st of September to [email protected] If a nation has remaining quota after the 1st of September; the remaining quota will go to the nations that have full quota. These remaining quota’s entries must be made before September 14th. After September 14th event is closed for all Nations. Race information: The races will be Slalom format. U10 and U12 will do the inspection with normal poles, but will do the races with Stubbies. The U10 and U12 will race first and the stubbies will then be replaced with full poles for the remaining age groups. There will be a price giving after the race on Saturday (day result for all categories) There will be a price giving after the race on Sunday : 1) day result for all categories 2)combined results for the 2 days (the winners receive the titles Indoor Lowland Champion) 3)Nations Cup (the nation that receives the most points during the event receives the Cup) Combined result: The combined times of the 2 races will be used for the combined result. Nations Cup: The top 5 of the categories U10,U12,U14,U16,U18,U21 and 21+ will receive points for the nation’s cup. For issues not covered by the FIS the Jury will decide. During inspection racers need to wear or carry their bib so that it is visible. This is to show that you are entitled to be in the course area. Inspection on foot by racers is not permissible Helmets must been worn by racers at all times whilst on the slope.
