Themedrink “ Twente”
Wednesday the 8th of october will be the first cultural drink
of this year, organized by Apollo. The Theme this time will be
the ever-awesome “ Twente”! Just moved to Enschede and
curious about the local customs, food and drinks? Been living in
Enschede for a while but still not having a clue what that accent
is really like? Come taste the real Twentse atmosphere in the
Theatercafe De Vrijhof, together with Apolloooo!

Wanted: commission members
Apollo organizes many fun activities, but could really use some
help with that. Do you have the ambition the be active and
would you like to mark the event with your input? Join Apollo
in one of the following commissions:
End of the year Celebration: This year Apollo has the ambition
to join the organization of the end of the year celebration.
Bigger, better and cooler than ever! Very suitable for people
who appreciate a challenge and a good party.
Jazz podium: The Popsi of Apollo would really like to
reintroduce the Jazz Podium in February. We need all the
help we can get, so if you’ve got a thing for Jazz and would
like to be part of it, let us know.
Lustrum: In 2016, Apollo will celebrate her anniversary, just
like the UT! Since this has to be a huge happening, we already
started to look for enthusiastic volunteers to create the best
plan ever. Everything is possible, so drop by to share your ideas
and join the commission. The more the merrier!

On October 25th Apollo will organize a brainstorm with
the theme “communication”. With this brainstorm we
hope to create ideas about how to improve communication
between cultural associations, Vrijhof Cultuur, Apollo and the
Student Union. We’ll make this a fun day which starts with a
teambuilding activity and after that the brainstorm. Apollo would
like to invite 1 or 2 persons from every culture association to join
us this day.

Posterround
Apollo started the posterround. By making the round a few
times a year, you can hand in any posters through the year
which will be spread around both the city and the campus.
Never before did you reach such a big public! Besides this
advantage, your association will get 20 euros for every round
you make, isn’t that nice?
Any gaps in the planning can be filled by volunteers.
Volunteers are free to keep the 20 euros for themselves. Drop
by and add your name to the list so we can let you know if
there’s a round available.
Lisa has returned!
Finally, Lisa Tieman is back in town! The board Apollo 20142015 is complete and ready for action. After a month of traveling
through the Middle East, Lisa will boost the board by acting as
secretary. Drop by and listen to all the great adventures Lisa has
experienced in a whole new cultural environment.
Evaluation first month Apollo
The first month for the new board is past. Apollo has been
busy with meeting her plentiful connections and will continue
to do so. If you haven’t seen Apollo pass by yet, be prepared
for an invasion during one of your repetitions ;)
Besides all that, Apollo started the preparation for numerous
events and is planning on starting even more greatness on
cultural grounds with all of you. (Did you check the call-up
for the commissions?) last but not least, the Apollo room is
starting to look neat, we receive many positive reactions on
the redecorating that has been done. Will you come and see
while enjoying a cup of coffee/tea?
