Stainless Steel Sink use and care
• The best form of maintenance is frequent, regular cleaning
• Always rinse and towel dry the sink after each use in order to
minimise major cleanups, keeping it relatively free of water
spots which may build up mineral deposits
• Should a mineral deposit build up over time, use a weak
solution of vinegar and water to remove the deposit, followed
by flushing the surface with water
• Use only mild abrasive cleanser and always clean or scrub
following the direction of the grain line. Any scrubbing across
the grain could show as a scratch. Scrubbing in the same
direction as the grain will blend in any surface scratches
• Donʼt use steel wool to clean your sink as it will leave a residue
of small iron particles, this could lead to corrosion of the sink

• For similar reasons do not leave steel pans or implements
anywhere on the sink for extended periods of time
• Do not leave wet cloths etc. in the sink overnight as they will
trap water underneath which could lead to staining and
discoloration of the sink surface. The unique properties of
stainless steel are dependent upon exposure of the surface to
the atmosphere
• Don't use concentrated chlorine bleach in your stainless steel
sink, as chlorine will attack the protective layer that makes
stainless steel truly stainless

The Apollo® Urban sink has a stainless steel base and is available in
the colour of your choice to match or co-ordinate with your worksurface.
The top edge detail will be bevel edge unless otherwise stated.
Stainless steel bases can be susceptible to scratching.
There can be a slight variation in colour between sink and worktop.
In order to avoid any colour variance between the top and the bowl, we
suggest a bevel or moulded edge if this is not specified we will use our
discretion as to which detail will be used.
