Technology CYMTV biedt televisiediensten over het open internet. CYMTV’s streamingtechniek is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met o.a. de TU Delft en MIT en bespaart tot 90% op de bandbreedte (-‐
kosten). Het netwerk is volledig beveiligd. Aflevering van de televisiediensten kan wereldwijd, overal waar internet beschikbaar is met voldoende bandbreedte. CYMTV biedt eveneens consumentenproducten, waarmee de televisiediensten kunnen worden ontvangen. Zowel de streamingtechniek als de ontvanger (“Pluggy”) zijn af en reeds op de markt. Product •

De Pluggy verandert iedere TV in een smart TV, en wordt verkocht via een netwerk van resellers (en direct). Er zijn tal van individuele doelgroepen voor content (etnisch, special interest, etc.) die kunnen worden benaderd met een specifiek televisie content aanbod. De streamingtechniek op zich kan als turn-‐key oplossing of als licentie worden geleverd aan geïnteresseerde partijen (hetgeen nu ook al gebeurt). Groei •

There are many individual target markets for content (ethnical, special interest, etc.) that can be approached with a specific television content offering. CYMTV kan zeer snel groeien door de (internationale) consumentenmarkt te benaderen met het aanbod van specifieke televisiezenders en –pakketten, maar ook door de verkoop van de Pluggy op zich (o.a. via distributeurs). Er is investering nodig het internationaal op de markt brengen van de producten, en in de inkoop van voorraad. Een uiteindelijke groei naar een wereldwijde aanbieder van televisiediensten, zowel voor niche markten als ook voor mainstream, behoort tot de reële mogelijkheden. •

CYMTV can grow quickly by addressing the (international) consumer market with the offer of specific television cannels and packages, but also by selling the Pluggy as a stand-‐alone product (for example through distributors). An investment is needed for bringing the products to the international market, and for the purchase of product stock.
