Accessing your AEGON Pension
In order to have access your personal AEGON page you will need to register with AEGON by
going to the following link www.mijnaegon.nl. The explanation below is for first time users
of this site.
The first screen that you will see is the following:
To register you need to click on the button ‘toegang aanvragen’ – requesting access
On this screen you will once again need to click on ‘toegang aanvragen’ – requesting access.
It is worth noting that they suggest that before you proceed that you should have the
following items available: AEGON policy, contract, certificate, registration number or your
AEGON bank account number (these can all be found on your AEGON documents).
On this screen you will need to fill in your personal details:







Dhr. – Mr. or Mevr. Mrs./Ms.
Voorletters - First Initials
Tussenvoegsel en achternaam – Affix and Surname (if your surname is de groot, the
first box is for de and the second box is for groot)
Geboortedatum - Date of birth (date, month, year)
Land – Country (Verenigd Koninkrijk = United Kingdom)
Uw adres – your address
Woonplaats - City
Once you have entered all of this information click on the button ‘verder’ – further
Next you need to create a username and password
Gebruikersnaam - Username can include capital and lower case letters, numbers and
symbols. Must be between 8-50 characters long.
Wachtwoord - Password between 8-20 characters long and it must contain at least one
capital letter, one lower case letter and one number.
Wachtwoord (ter bevestiging) - You need to re-enter the password.
Once you have entered all of this information click on the button ‘verder’ - further
If you wish to be able to log onto the My AEGON site via a social network site (i.e. Facebook,
Google+ or LinkedIn) you will need to select the social network site and complete the
information requested. If do not wish to do this you can skip this step by clicking on ‘Deze
stap overslaan’.
The information that you have filled in will now appear in this screen, if the details are
correct you need to click in the box next to the word ‘Ja, ik ga akkoord met de
internetvoorwaarden’ – yes I agree to the internet terms.
Thank you for your registration.
Due to security reasons AEGON will send you a letter with an activation code, with your
personal activation code you can activate your account. You will receive your activation code
within 3 working days (it might take longer when you are living abroad) and the activation
code is only valid for 10 days after it is sent to you.
