“Stop Smoking”

In March 2012 the Club “Friends of Belgium” and the House of Humor in Gabrovo organized a contest with drawings on
”Smoking or Enjoying Good Health - the Choice Is Yours!”. 30 from the 250 drawings were selected to organize an
exhibition in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwziekenhuis in Aalst-Belgium.
Marleen Geerts - teacher at the KAD school - followed the example of the contest organized by the club “Friends of
Belgium” and the House of Humor in Gabrovo and took the initiative to organize a parallel contest in her school. From
those paintings 28 were selected for an exhibition in the Tota Venkova Hospital in Gabrovo.
Paintings were made on Canvas by students from the KAD school Denderleeuw - Campus Liedekerke - Belgium.
The age of the students varied between 12-14 years.
The name and age of each student is mentioned.
Supported by vzw ““People serve Bulgaria : Aalst-Gabrovo” and the club “Friends of Belgium” Gabrovo.
