De Archimedes is een innovatief ontwerp voor een wind turbine: klein, stil en betaalbaar. Gebaseerd op de tekeningen en methoden van de Griekse wiskundige Archimedes, is het ontwerp te vergelijken met die van een
schelp: De Nautilidae (vrij vertaald visser). Na 10 a 11 jaar aan onderzoek en ontwikkeling van de ‘Liam wind
turbine’ te hebben besteed zijn de resultaten meer dan spectaculair te noemen!
De voornaamste kenmerken van dit baanbrekende ontwerp zijn een hoge efficiëntie, lage cut-in wind snelheid, waardoor het hoogste rendement ontstaat (W/m²) . Daarnaast is de Liam turbine geluids- en onderhoudsarm, én ongevoelig
voor turbulentie. Met zijn mooie organische verschijningsvorm gaat hij naadloos op in de omgeving.
