3. Causes of Major Food Accidents
and countermeasures
Japanese importers are annoyed with food accidents that
unexpected agrichemicals or additives exceed the standard
values or mixing of them is detected.

◆Physical protection in the fields
◆Confirm the agrichemical used in
surrounding fields, and inspect it.
(2) Agrichemical or additive is detected
from raw material for which nonuse
of them has been conditioned.

status for thorough control.
◆Survey the items of our inspection rules.
(3) The Japanese standard value of
agriculture, etc. is exceeded due to
lack of knowledge.
◆The change in Japanese standard value is
notified timely.

4. Overview of Toyota Tsusho
Food-Safety Administration System (1)
◆ Toyota Tsusho established a Food Safety Promotion Group in March 2008.
◆ The group concluded an operation contract with a specialized institution in
October 2008 and built a Food-Safety Administration System.
◆ Toyota Tsusho uses this system to execute uniform management, including
affiliated companies.
◆ The system is built on the following three control standards.
