アセットマネジャー/ファンドマネジャーの皆様、
2015年の今年も、10月6日(火)・7日(水)にアストリアインベスターフォーラムの開催のご案内を申し上げます。今年の
フォーラムにおける協賛企業参加申込期限は9月3日となります。なお、アーリーバード割引は8月27日までとさせていただき
ます。
14年目を迎える本年のプログラムは、昨年同様2日間の開催中、協賛企業が講師となる投資ワークショップと、パネルセッ
ションを2日間に渡り組み合わせて開催する予定です。具体的なセッションの構成等プログラムの詳細については本資料後半

AIF 2015 Speaking Opportunity: access and influence
the future of LP investing in Japan
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are delighted to announce this year’s Astoria Investor Forum 2015 will take place on October 6-7. The call for Speakers
is open until September 3, 2015 and our Early Bird discount on sponsorship fees will be effective until August 27th.
Now in its 14th year, the Astoria Investor Forum is the most well recognized LP conference on private equity by
institutional investors in Japan. The conference was rebranded in 2011 to include such asset classes as infrastructure and
private debt. We expect to see over 150 Japanese institutional investors and fiduciary firms, who act on behalf of
Japanese pension investors, to attend the conference in the fall of 2015.
The main body of the conference consists of 2 days from October 6th and 7th. All together we will have 2 workshop
sessions, 10 panel sessions, 7 of which are sponsored sessions. On the night of October 5th, there will be an exclusive
cocktail/dinner event for sponsors, speakers and VIP guests.

本会は国内の機関投資家向けの教育と啓蒙を目的に2002年にアストリアPE投資フォーラムとしてス
タートし、現在に至ります。現在はアストリアインベスターフォーラムと改称され、グロース・キャ
ピタルゲイン戦略系のPE投資以外にインカム戦略系のインフラストラクチャー投資、不動産ファンド
投資などもプログラムに含まれます。
誰が参加するか？
機関投資家教育の目的以外にも、優れたアセットマネジャーやファンドマネジャーとのネットワーキ
ング機会を目的に、今年10月のカンファレンスには150名超の参加者が見込まれています。会場の
60％以上の参加者はバイサイドになる見込みです。昨年の参加者(法人名)は下記をご覧ください。
What is Astoria Investor Forum?
Since the launch of the Astoria Private Equity Forum in Japan in 2002, Astoria has become the most
recognized name among LPs in Japan as the foremost organizer of investor education seminars. Now
renamed as the as the Astoria Investor Forum (AIF), we have widened the scope of the agenda to include
such topics as Infrastructure, Private Debt , Real Estate in addition to Private Equity in the conference
program.
Who will attend?
We expect to welcome over 150 delegates at our next conference in October 2015, a true reflection of the
continuing appetite for investment amongst the Japanese LP community. The AIF continues to be the
premier destination for investors and asset managers in Japan looking to find out more about the latest
trends and issues, and of course, build new, meaningful networks. Astoria is an investor facing
organization and we have an excellent track record of hosting conferences where over 60% of delegates
are LPs and/or their fiduciary firms.

近年ミドルマーケットはPE投資プログラムを持つ機関投
資家の間で、超過収益を得る為の手段として魅力的な投資
ターゲットになりつつあります。投資パフォーマンスを示
すトラックレコード・データなどを見ても、多くの場合
ラージバイアウトファンドを凌ぐリターンをミドルバイア
ウトファンドが達成してるのは明らかなのですが、LP投
資家にとって課題も存在します。例えば、ソーシング、ア
クセス、Due Diligenceなどが課題としてあげられます。
本ワークショップの目的は、なぜ多くのLPがミドル市場
を投資ターゲットとするのかを解説するとともに、有効な
ミドル市場投資プログラムを立ち上げる為に投資家が直面
する様々な課題点について、その解決法の示唆も含め、弊
社の知見を参加者の皆さまに共有いたします。
In recent years the middle market has become an
increasingly attractive target for private equity
investors seeking to generate outsized returns
with their fund commitment programs. While the
data show that middle market leveraged funds
have, in many case outperformed their larger
brethren, the middle market is nonetheless not
without challenges for Limited Partners. Among
those challenges are sourcing, access and due
diligence. The purpose of this workshop is to
discuss in greater depth reasons why many LP's
target the middle market, as well as to provide
suggestions for how LP's can address the many
difficulties involved in creating an effective middle
market investment program.

ション資料は、ファンドビジネスについての情報や、投資ファンドのマネジャーが関与する投資ファンドの投資戦略、投資成績データなどは、あくまでも情
報提供の一環として提供されるものであり、「特定投資家」（適格投資家またはそれに準ずる機関投資家、受託機関などの具体的運用サポートを得る
機関投資家）による投資対象となるべきものです。一般投資家の投資対象ではありません。
年金（基金）などを含む非特定投資家（一般投資家）がAIFに参加する場合、AIF会場にて知りえる全ての情報は、教育的な情報収集の一環としての情
報提供であり、投資を目的とした勧誘ではない事を事前承知したうえで、参加頂きます。

1) Astoria recognize the importance of protecting the privileged personal information. It shall seek appropriate means and methods to collect, use,
