43rd International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva
752 exhibitors from 48 countries.
The International Exhibition of Inventions, the world’s largest exhibition of its kind, is
to take place from the 15th to the 19th April. It is held under the patronage of the World
Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), of the Swiss government and the State and
City of Geneva. It will be host to 752 exhibitors from 48 countries.
The inventions – about a thousand of them – will be shown mainly by independent
inventors, companies, universities and government agencies. From an everyday-use item,
a game or sports-related object to state-of-the-art medical, ecological or security
technologies, all areas of human activity will be showcased.
6 new countries are to be represented by inventors exhibiting in Geneva: Azerbaijan,
Afghanistan, Benin, Montenegro, Malta and Paraguay. Their presence contributes to the
universal nature of the Geneva event.
The Exhibition is a unique platform for meetings between inventors, industrialists, investors
and distributors. Each year, a business volume of more than 50 million Euros is generated
from the sale of licences during or after the show.
An International Jury of 85 experts will award many highly regarded prizes to the best
inventions. The Grand Prix will guarantee instant recognition to its winner.
