The Zentrum für Frühförderung supports parents
of infants and preschool children who have questions
or conccerns relating to the upbringing or development of their child. We work closely with other
professionals and those involved in the child’s care.

Who can contact us?
• Mothers, fathers and other carers of infants and
preschool children living in the Kanton of Basel-Stadt,
up until the time at which the child starts Kinder garten (e.g. Playgroup leaders, Nursery staff working
in Basel-Stadt).
• Advice and guidance on
parenting and supporting
your child
• Support for children with
developmental delay or
special needs
• Support for children
with speech and language
difficulties or delay
The costs for these services are covered by the
Kanton of Basel-Stadt.
