EEX erweitert mit OptionsCity Software Zugang zum StromTerminmarkt
Chicago und Leipzig, 16. April 2015. Die European Energy Exchange (EEX) erweitert im Zusammenarbeit mit OptionsCity Software den technischen Zugang zum
Strom-Terminmarkt. OptionsCity, ein global agierender Anbieter von elektronischen
Handelssystemen für professionelle Händler von Futures und Optionen, ist ab sofort
als unabhängiger Softwareanbieter (Independent Software Vendor – ISV) an die EEX
angebunden.
Die von OptionsCity entwickelte elektronische Handelsplattform „Metro Now“ ist mit
dem EEX-Handelssystem “T7” verbunden und ermöglicht so den Handel von PhelixFutures und Optionen auf Phelix-Futures an der EEX.

dadurch Zugang zu unseren Energieprodukten, während die EEX-Handelsteilnehmer
von der innovativen Technologie von OptionsCity profitieren können. Dies gilt insbesondere für den Optionshandel, für den wir die Einführung einer Reihe neuer Kontrakte
für weitere Marktgebiete planen.“

EEX Selects OptionsCity Software to Expand Access to Power
Derivatives Market
Chicago and Leipzig, 16 April 2015. The European Energy Exchange (EEX) today
announced that OptionsCity Software, a global provider of electronic trading solutions
for professional futures and options traders, will broaden its connectivity with EEX,
helping the exchange expand access to its Power Derivatives Market.
As an Independent Software Vendor, OptionsCity’s electronic trading platform, Metro
Now, is linked to EEX’s “T7” trading system, providing access for trading in EEX Phelix
Futures and Phelix Options.
“We are glad to welcome OptionsCity as a new ISV at EEX,” says Steffen Köhler, Chief
Operating Officer at EEX. “Customers from OptionsCity will benefit from broader
access to energy products, while our network of trading participants can benefit from
OptionsCity’s innovative trading technology. This applies in particular to trading power
