Filmemacher Felix Huber zeichnet ein Porträt, das formal Langeders Œuvre gleicht: Ebenso frech, mit hintergründigem Witz und genauso klug verbindet Huber dokumentarische Aufnahmen mit Fernsehmaterial, Pseudo-Werbevideos, verstecktem Kameramaterial und Zeitrafferaufnahmen zu einer abwechslungsreichen, unterhaltsamen und niemals oberflächlichen Dokumentarfilm. Gemeinsam mit dem Porträt „Murl“ entwickelt der Filmemacher eine eigene Handschrift und nähert sich einfühlsam seinen Protagonisten in ihrer Welt. ***** From performer to artist all the way to social-critical thinker, successively we discover the cosmos of Hannes Langeder. Filmmaker Felix Huber draws a portrait that resembles Langeder’s oeuvre: just as smartly, with cryptic humor, and just as cleverly, Huber combines documentary shots with television material, pseudoadvertising videos, hidden camera material, and time-lapse shots into a varied, entertaining, and never superficial documentary. With this film together with the portrait “Murl”, the filmmaker is developing his own signature and approaches his protagonists in their world with great sensitivity. 27. April 2015
