It delivers a foundational level of protection against photo-oxidation and other types of degradation in untreated interior and exterior woods. Because SunCare UV concentrate additive stabilizes the lignin in the wood itself, formulated wood treatment products using this technology exhibit consistently higher levels of protection and long-term performance that can enable warrantable ‘long-lasting’ claims on finished products. Typical usage rate varies with substrate and should be determined via laboratory tests. Organic solvents should be avoided in primer formulation. Recommendation for parquet application SunCare UV concentrate additive can easily be applied after dilution 1:1 to1:2 with water by dipping, spraying or other application methods. In roller applications SunCare UV concentrate additive can be applied as it is. Short term exposure to temperatures up to 80°C can be tolerated. Strong oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids will lead to decomposition of active ingredients.
