The class will be an interactive, lecture/ PowerPoint format with the handout materials to be completed during the class. The common electrical calculations will include: Services, Feeders, Voltage Drop, Separately Derived Systems and Feeder Taps. Course participants should bring a copy of the 2014 National Electrical Code and a calculator. • Participation qualifies for eight code credits in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. • Reduced credit hours for this course are not available. • Course qualifies for power limited credits. • There will not be any code books for sale. Dean is also a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and a current member of Code Making Panel 19 for the 2014 NEC.
