PHARMACY CHANGES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2015 NEW PRESCRIPTION CARRIER: Great news! Cigna will be our pharmacy provider effective January 1, 2015. Continue to use your Express Scripts ID card for prescriptions through December 31, 2014. Available Supply of Meds: If you will run short of medications soon, please fill those under Express Scripts so you have medications on hand through the holidays. NEW ID CARD: Effective January 1, 2015, use your new combined Cigna Medical/Rx ID card that includes the SCPS logo on it. It will be mailed the 3rd week of December to the mailing address you have listed in ESS. The retail pharmacy must load your new Cigna information into their system prior to filling your new prescription or they will attempt to fill with Express Scripts mistakenly and will receive a rejection. If you experience this, please be sure to provide the pharmacy with your new combined Cigna medical/Rx ID card. NEW - RETAIL 90: For your convenience, you may now use retailers Publix or Walmart for a 90-day supply at the same cost as 90-day mail order refills. A 90-day quantity can only be provided at these two pharmacies. Ask your doctor for a new 90-day prescription and take it to the Publix or Walmart of your choice since your Open Refill is not able to be transferred to a retail pharmacy. Specialty Drugs: For Specialty Drugs, you get one fill at the retail pharmacy then must use Cigna Specialty Pharmacy. You can contact them at 1-800-3513606.
