Of Communications & Marketing (262) 560-2137 [email protected] UW-Madison Varsity Band to perform at Oconomowoc High School on Sunday, January 25 for “Run-Out” Show Oconomowoc, Wisconsin – January 2, 2015. The Oconomowoc High School (OHS) Band Aids welcomes the University of Wisconsin-Madison Varsity Band to the Field House on Sunday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. for their “Run-Out Show” performance. The OHS Field House is located at the south end of the high school complex at 641 E. Forest St., Oconomowoc. The Badger’s high-energy show will include songs from the 2014 football halftime shows, as well as the time-honored Fifth Quarter. The performance will include songs from Wizard of Oz, Queen, Carole King and Wicked. In addition, the OHS Pep Band will provide music before the performance. “Whether you are a proud alumni, or a hopeful Badger-to-be, you will thoroughly enjoy this spirited show!” said UW Band Chairperson Terri Watermolen. The Band Aids’ goal is to bring this Wisconsin tradition to families in Oconomowoc, while raising funds for high school band students. Advance tickets are $10 and may be purchased at Oconomowoc Piggly Wiggly, Books and Co., and the high school main office. The goal of the organization is to promote the band program through awareness, education, scholarships, instrument purchases and student music educational programs. The cost of the Run-Out show is approximately $6,000. The band boosters are hoping to raise the majority of the cost through private donations.
