全日制プリスクールプログラム（英語保育園）
はじめに
Introduction
Hiroshima International School offers two
early childhood class facilities, one in our
main building at Koyo and another in our
downtown campus at Ushita. The programs
are very similar to one another, following
the guidelines of the International
Baccalaureate Primary Years Program.
Parents are given the choice of whether to
send their children to the Koyo or Ushita
program, unless class
size dictates that
enrolment is closed at
one of the sites.

広島インターナショナルスクールで
は、2004 年 8 月から、2 つのプリスク
ール（当校の高陽の本校舎と牛田の新
キャンパスで 1 クラスづつ）を提供い
たします。プリスクールプログラム
は、インターナショナルバカロレア初
等課程プログラムのガイドラインに従
っております。保護者の皆様には、高
陽または牛田のいずれかのプログラム
を選択していただきます。各クラスの
定員の都合によっては、選択の希望に
添えない事もあります。ご了承下さ
い。

時間割
Timetable
Both the Koyo and Ushita early childhood
programs run five days per week, from
8.45 until 3.30pm, according to the
school’s calendar. At Ushita, parents may
arrange with the teacher to send their
child/ren for part of the day, or part of the
week. The children bring their lunch with
them and eat at school. Below is a sample
daily schedule for the pre-kindergarten
program:

高陽および牛田のプリスクールプログ
ラムは、当校の年次予定表に従い、1
週間に 5 日間、午前 8 時 45 分から午後
3 時 30 分まで行われます。プリスクー
ルの保護者の皆様は、担任の教師と打
ち合わせを行って、お子様を 1 日の時
間の一部、または 1 週間の日程の一部
に参加させることもできます。ただ
し、このような場合にも通常の授業料
をご負担していただきます。お子様は
お弁当を持参し、クラスで昼食をとり
ます。プリスクールクラスの時間割は
次の通りです。

Special classes & events
Early Childhood classes participate in
many special events, including field trips
and visits to the park. The Ushita class
sometimes attend special events at the
Koyo building, such as Halloween and ski
day. They also join with the Koyo prekindergarten class for special monthly
programs. Classes at Koyo have extra
classes in Japanese, music and PE. The
school offers some specialist classes at
Ushita, although it may not be able to
offer as broad a
program as it does
at the Koyo campus.
特別授業および行事
プリスクールの子どもたちは、遠足
（見学）に行ったり、公園に出かけた
りするなど多くの行事や課外活動に参
加します。牛田クラスの子どもたち
は、高陽キャンパスでの特別行事（ハ
ロウィーン、スキー､遠足など）への参
加や、2 クラス合同での保育活動の機
会もあります。高陽キャンパスでは、
日本語、音楽、体育の特別授業があり
ます。当校は、牛田でも専門家による
授業をいくつか提供すべく努力いたし
ますが、当面の間は、高陽キャンパス
ほど広範なプログラムを提供すること
ができない場合もあります。
入園資格
Enrolment requirements
Enrolment in the pre-kindergarten class is
open to students aged 3 and 4 on
September 1, 2005. In certain
circumstances, children who turn 3 midway
through the school year may enroll in the
pre-kindergarten class with the permission
of the school principal on the first of the
following dates after their third birthday:
Nov 1, Jan 10, April 4. All children must
be toilet trained before they enroll.

プリスクールに入園出来
るのは、（2004 年 9 月 1
日現在）3 歳および 4 歳
のお子様です。
事情により、学年の途中で 3 歳になる
お子様も、当校の学校長の許可を得た
場合には、11 月 1 日、1 月 10 日、4 月
4 日のいずれかの日から入園すること
が出来ます。また 5 歳児のための幼稚
園クラスは、2004 年 9 月から高陽と牛
田、両方のキャンパスで、開設しま
す。入園児は全員、トイレトレーニン
グを完了しておかなければなりませ
ん。

Travel
There is a bus
service that takes
children from
various locations in
Hiroshima to Koyo and Ushita.
送迎
Fees
Tuition and other fees are outlined in the
document Financial Regulations, which is
available from the school, or may be
downloaded from the school’s web site.
Fees are the same for the Koyo and Ushita
programs.
料金
広島市内の諸地域から高陽･牛田キャン
パスまで送迎バスを運行しています。
授業料およびその他の料金は、当校で
配布している「授業料一覧表」（当校
のウェブサイトからダウンロードも可
能）があります。高陽および牛田のプ
ログラムの諸料金は同一です。
