MARY LU DELLERT, age 70, longtime resident of
Trumansburg, died unexpectedly at her home in Conifer Village in Interlaken, on Thursday, January 8, 2015.
Mary Lu was born in Dunmore, PA on October 5, 1944 and
was the daughter of Lewis D. and Mary A. (Martin) Locklin.
She received her nursing degree and worked as an RN, most
recently retiring from Absolut Care of Endicott. In her retirement, she worked as an associate at Wal-Mart.
Mary Lu is survived by her children, Laura S. (Brooks
Hendrix) Dellert of Trumansburg, Todd A. (Heidi) Dellert of
Lanexa,Virginia, Gregg M. (Melinda) Dellert of Huntsville,
AL, and Melinda S. (Bill) Hutley of Corning; 7 grandchildren,
Chad J. Mehlenbacher, Casey J. Mehlenbacher, Taylor V.M.
Rice, Emma L.I. Rice, Kayle Dellert, Carson Dellert, and
Eliza Dellert; and her best friend, Linda Cole of Trumansburg.
At Mary Lu’s request, her ashes will be buried in the spring
at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Hawley, PA. For additional
