Mission-Shaped Ministry. There is an exciting course starting in Burton-onTrent on Saturdays monthly from 17th January 2015. This provides detailed
training from leading people into how we can develop contemporary mission initiatives - much like those we are experimenting with in our Benefice. As Alastair
Redfern, Bishop of Derby, says, ‘This course provides one of the most exciting
and creative ways in which God’s gifts can be nourished and focused to have
maximum impact for the gospel in our times. I hope that many will take advantage of this important opportunity. God ever calls us to be agents of his new
and surprising life’. There is a cost to the course but we can consider how best to
fund such training. For more information contact Andy.
