MORE than 300
people took part in
the popular Seef
Mall Half Marathon
held yesterday.
It was organised
in collaboration with
Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) and began from the Toys R
Us parking lot which
was also the finishing
point of the race.
It was open to all
residents of Bahrain.
Men and women
aged between 16-29
years, 30-39 years,
40-44 years, 45-49
years, 50-54 years,
55-59 years and 60
years and above took
part.
As part of the event,
face painting and colouring stations were
available for children
to enjoy during the
race.
Prizes were awarded to the top three
finishers in all agegroups and medals
were presented to every participant.
n Two lucky winners of Noor El Ain shop and win raffle draw were announced yesterday during an event held at Al Aali Shopping
Complex in Seef. Noor El Ain was launched on December 15 last year and runs until February 16. The shopping festival, which is
the first of its kind in Bahrain, will see the inclusion of malls, retailers and shoppers taking part in outstanding deals, promotions
and festivities. Above, some of the winners are presented with their prizes.
