9:00–10:00 AM SEU 101: Orientation
Bush Chapel
Every first-year student with a birthday after August 1, 1995,
or under two semesters of traditional university enrollment
(fewer than 28 credit hours) is automatically enrolled in the
First Year Experience for a full academic year. The First
Year Experience includes a four-week SEU 101 course.

Various Residence Halls
All new students are encouraged to meet at their residence halls
with members of the residence life staff to get a hands-on guide
to the Lakeland community.
5:00 PM Spark: New Student Dinner
Tuscana Ristorante, Salon C
All new students are encouraged to attend this dinner and fully
engage in the Southeastern experience with SEU faculty and staff.

Following Decide Chapel, upperclassmen (sophomores,
juniors and seniors) will have the opportunity to sign up for
Connect Groups. Connect Groups, which meet on a weekly
basis for 10 weeks each semester, are an opportunity for
faculty and staff to build mentoring relationships with students
outside the classroom.
