1. ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES

To assist the Country Director in office management including its human resources,
with particular focus on the respect of logistics and procurement procedures and
documentation.
Insure adequate and regular support to Italian Cooperation Logistics Coordinator
regarding logistics procedures and collaborate with the Administrative Department
officers in logistics manegement-supervision of the different projects.
Provide organization and updating to the logistics archives including vehicles log book
and maintainance, office inventory, providers database, human resources visa&travel
permit schedule between others.
Provide logistics reports and planning for the correct and efficient funcioning of the office.
Insure adequate and regular contacts with National and Local authorities regarding
logistics and procurement procedures verification or information (f.e: custom rules,
MoFA rules on international organization for human resources, vehicles rules,
equipments rules, contracting rules for goods and services...).
Carry out any other task on Country Director request, compatibly with professional
capacities.
2. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational qualification: high school diploma (11th class – Sudanese system)
2. Logistics and procurement working experience of at least 3 years
3. Good knowledge of English (oral and written);
4. Driving licence

3. PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Logistics and procurement working experience in development cooperation (preferibly
with an Italian agency) of at least 3 years.
2. Good knowledge of logistics procedures (on vehicles, equipments, offices and
human resources).
3. Good knowledge of Arabic (oral and written).
4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
5. Knowledge of Italian language.
4. SALARY
The salary will be calculated proportionally with the candidate technical and professional
capacities and will be according and compatible with the ranges defined in 11th article, point 6
with Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs deliberation n. 220 of 2013.

The Embassy/Italian Cooperation Office will use inteviews or tests with shortlisted
candidates to verify the real competences.
1. ESCAPE CLAUSE
The Embassy preserves the right to cancel the selection procedure in case of special
conditions discretionally evaluated case by case. The Embassy and its Development
Cooperation office preserves the right to cancel the attribution of the position in case of
absence of qualified candidates or unavailability of financial resources for the coverage of
the contracted amount.
