NEWS FROM CANADIAN BAPTIST MINISTRIES (CBM):
East Asia:
prayer. Not only do we work alongside local churches in Canada to help
mobilize their members for mission, for over 20 years our field staff helped
plant churches among the Asian diaspora in Latin America. For the past six
years, we have supported evangelism and discipleship training among
graduate students from East Asia who are studying in Europe. Please pray for
these students as the vast majority of them will assume leadership roles within
society after they return home. Pray that their exposure to the Christian faith
and fellowship overseas will help equip them for leadership within the church
in their home countries.
Kwoks in Thailand: Conrad and Fiona Kwok serve with CBM in Thailand in
the areas of leadership formation and community development. They work in
collaboration with the Bethel Bible Institute (BBI) to provide training for young
church leaders from mainland China, Northern Thailand and Burma. They ask
for prayer on behalf of the students and for first year students adjusting to their
2015 and for the Kwoks in their teaching opportunities, for wisdom,
