Destinations Publishing has developed a new and unique
distribution model that adds to our exisiting distribution network.
We are constantly adding new channels to distribute to, that
complement the editorial themes found in each edition.
As a result, the digital edition of the magazine is distributed to key
influencers corresponding to each editions theme; for example, a
cruise-focused edition would be directed towards cruise lines and
travel agents; an adventure-travel edition towards adventure tour
operators, hiking clubs and mountain guides.
Why dynamic distribution?
✈ Dynamic distribution offers a targeted distribution platform, that
caters to readers based on their areas of interest and attracts new
audiences because of that content.
Your account manager will be able to provide you with a dynamic
distribution list for the current edition.

The
Magazine
Destinations - Quarterly
Destinations – the flagship title that
began it all in 1996 – is now being
discovered by readers around the
world in unprecedented numbers,
largely due to its digital distribution
through Vancouver-based
Newspaper Direct, the world’s
most comprehensive source for
international newspapers and
magazines.
The magazine’s team of international
travel writers and photographers are
regular award winners.
Destinations, typically features
international stories that anchor the
quarterly theme, while other sections
are dedicated to “home regions” –
New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific
Islands and Asia.
Live
Editorial
Wedding Destinations - Annually
Wedding Destinations builds yet
more romance into that most special
of events by exploring a range of very
different and alternative locations
and venues for the ‘big day’. This
beautiful magazine offers couples
all the tools they need to create their
dream wedding and honeymoon in
spectacular, often exotic destinations.
Bridging the gap
Static to kinetic. Using augmented
reality we can bring the written page
to life, where readers are not only
able to read the story, but watch it in
video format.
Wine Destinations - Annually
Wine Destinations builds on the
concept of wine providing the
foundation for a perfect holiday
within New Zealand, complete with
details on wineries, restaurants,
accommodation, trends and
attractions that each wine region has
to offer.
Live content can also be created in
collaboration with our advertisers.
Readers can view the live content,
directly off the print pages from their
mobile devices.
So when the Destinations’ team is
satisfied with the story, they can also
capture the footage for us live
on location.
Please ask your account manager
for more detail and to view the
demonstration.

The
Website
The website destinationsmagazine.com offers
new & exciting channels:
Travel Storybook
A showcase of travel tales told by our emerging
and award-winning contributors from across
the globe.
Experience
Experience is a “travel video” space that houses
live content from across the globe.
Travellers select their destination and are
directed to a video introduction. The video is
complemented by a written feature offering a
glimpse into that destination.
Travellers are then led to selected videos of
people’s travel experiences from around the world,
enticing them to explore their chosen destination
through the eyes of another.
Bazaar
Bazaar is an ever evolving, blog-styled, platform
that explores the latest trends in world travel. It has
been developed specifically for our advertisers and
clients as a place where they can tell their stories.
Travellers can meander through the many ‘alleys’
of the Destinations Bazaar and stay informed about
the latest news and innovations – be it special
deals, airline updates, new hotels, product reviews
or changes within the travel industry.
Bazaar’s alleys will address: People, Residence,
Culture, Style, Society, Taste and Adventure, with
new alleys developed as the need arises.
All content submitted to Bazaar is via arrangement,
editorially styled to fit Destinations’ look and feel
and best promote our partners.
