Is Back
Fans of some of the
Hoosier Lottery’s most popular
Scratch-offs are in luck! A
new family of games with the
player-pleasing “multiplier
play style” is now available at
Hoosier Lottery retailers. The
new games, 5X The Money,
10X The Money, 20X The
Money, 50X The Money and
100X The Money, are based
on the success of a similar
family of games, the 5X The
Cash to 100X The Cash games.
The new “X The
Money” family of Scratch-off
games are available at $1, $2,
$5, $10 and $20 price points
and offer top prizes up to $2
million.
The new “X The Money”
family of games’ bright,
colorful look, multiplier play
style and robust prize structures
mirror the previous “X The
Cash” family of Scratch-off
games. Since the launch of
the first “X The Cash” ticket
in August 2013, the family
of games has achieved more
than $135 million in combined
sales, sold better than the
average Scratch-off at every
single price point and resulted
in more than $8.1 million for
retailers in sales commission
alone.
Players won more than
$78 million on the “X The
Cash” games in 2014!
Here’s a look at what’s
new: The $1 5X The Money
offers 15 top prizes of $5,000.
Each ticket provides five
chances to win and a chance
to multiply winnings up to five
times. The game boasts more
than $8 million in prizes with a
total prize payout of more than
10
60 percent.
At $2 a ticket, the
10X The Money offers 24
top prizes of $10,000. It also
gives players 10 chances to
win and a chance to multiply
winnings up to 10 times. The
game boasts more than $16
million in prizes and has a total
prize payout of more than 64
percent.
At the popular $5 prize
point, the 20X The Money
offers 20 chances to win and
a chance to multiply prizes up
to 20 times. It features nine
top prizes of $100,000 and
more than $30 million in total
prizes. Total prize payout is 69
percent.
50X The Money offers
three top prizes of $1 million.
The tickets cost $10, offer 25
chances to win on each ticket
and allow winners to multiply
winnings up to 50 times. The
game features a prize payout
of more than $24 million, or
72 percent, and includes more
than $5 million in $50 and
$100 prizes.
100X The Money offers
three top prizes of $2 million!
The tickets cost $20, offer 25
chances to win on each ticket
and allow winners to multiply
winnings up to 100 times. The
game also boasts a prize payout
of more than $44 million, or
75 percent, and features $15
million in $50 and $200 prizes.
The 2015 “X The

Starting Off the Year
with Big Wins
Three lucky Hoosier
Lottery players in central
Indiana rang in the new year
with a lot to celebrate! The last
hours of 2014 were marked
by three significant wins for
Hoosier Lottery players in
Cloverdale, McCordsville and
Indianapolis.
Cloverdale resident John
Johnson will be cheering on
the Colts in Lucas Oil stadium
next year thanks to the Hoosier
Lottery. Johnson instantly
won 2015 season tickets on
the popular Colts $20,000
Touchdown Cash Scratchoff. The Putnam County man
purchased his winning ticket
at Luke’s at 7405 Indianapolis
Blvd. in Hammond. He
claimed his prize Dec. 31 at
Hoosier Lottery Headquarters
in Indianapolis.
Johnson is the ninth
lucky player to win season
tickets instantly on the popular
Scratch-off game. Fifteen pairs
of season tickets are unclaimed
at this time. Five of the game’s
$20,000 top cash prizes remain
unclaimed at this time as well.
Circle K Cash 5 Win!
Robert Jank of McCordsville
started off 2015 on a high note
after winning $331,477 in the
Dec. 30 Cash 5 drawing. Jank
purchased his winning ticket at
a Circle K on the Hamilton and
Hancock County line, at 9609
Olio Rd. in McCordsville.
As he waited for his
check at Hoosier Lottery
headquarters Dec. 31, the lucky
insurance trainer said winning
was “a shock,” and discussed
his plans for the windfall.
“I’m going to turn it
all over to my wife,” said
Jank. “We’ll do something
with it! I’m not too far from
retirement.”
Rick Hammond of
Indianapolis has an extra
$10,000 thanks to his
Christmas Eve Powerball win.
Hammond matched four of
the first five numbers and the
Powerball number on a ticket
he purchased at Kroger at 4202
S. East St. in Indianapolis.
Wednesday’s Powerball
jackpot is $146 million.
Bingo To Go win on
Mitthoeffer Road! Someone’s
bank account is about to get
a new year’s boost. A lucky
winner purchased a $10,000
winning Bingo To Go ticket at
Tobacco Cash at 2162 North
Mitthoeffer Rd. in Indianapolis
for the Dec. 31 evening
drawing.
The holder of the
ticket should sign the back
immediately and call Hoosier
Lottery customer service for
claim instructions. That win
brings Bingo To Go winning
totals for 2014 to $940,000.

that immediate payment be
made to avoid being shut off.
If
customers
are
unsure about the legitimacy
of any e-mail, phone call,
program or offer claiming to
be affiliated with NIPSCO,
please call NIPSCO’s 24-Hour
Customer Service Center at
1-800-4NIPSCO (1-800-4647726).
NIPSCO
reminds
customers who are uncertain of

Tips to Keep Customers
Safe from Scams: Potential
threats or scams can appear in

tips below, customers can help

Hammond’s New
Innovative HUB
A formerly vacant
building in downtown
Hammond is being revitalized
and celebrated its grand
opening with a ribbon cutting
on Friday, January 16th. The
HUB of Innovation, at 5233
Hohman Ave, is an extension
of the Hammond Innovation
Center, in partnership
between the Redevelopment
Commission
and
the
Hammond Development
Corporation.
The HUB, which
stands for Hammond
Understands Business, is a
new avenue for cultivating
business and job creation
through small business
development and internship
opportunities. There, local
university and high school
students will be introduced
to business tenants, resulting
in new and prosperous
opportunities for both the
interns and the business
owners. Transitioning these
interns into small business
owners is the foundation of
potential career employees for
Hammond and beyond.
“The City of Hammond
has shown that is believes
in entrepreneurship and the
small business, and the impact
of both on the economy and
development of the downtown
business district,” says Mayor
Tom McDermott, Jr. “This
type of incubator, with its
innovative technology,
presents the City with
encouraging new avenues
and creativity in business
development.”
The HUB features
state-of-the-art 3D printers,
electronics, and training
rooms available to the HUB’s
tenant entrepreneurs. Please
contact Sue with any questions
at (219) 750-1200.
