Youth—Sonic Monday, January 19. Meet at Sonic for lunch at 12:00 PM, and afterward
come back to the youth room for an afternoon of fun and games.
Attention Youth Parents: Youth after-school activities are being held on Mondays,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-5 PM. There will not be any activities on
Thursdays (due to Pastor Mark being off on Thursdays).
Baby Bottle Campaign for The Center for Women—This campaign provides about 25%
of the center’s annual income. Last year BWC raised almost $2400, and it would be
great if we could top that amount this year. Pick up a bottle at the Welcome Center
desk, take it home and fill it with your loose change, bills, or a check (made out to The
Center for Women), then return it to the desk.

The Children’s Ministry Committee will meet this Tuesday, January 20, at 6:00 PM in
Carson Hall. We will be discussing plans and curriculum for the Wednesday night children's program as well as VBS. Committee members are: Myra Cooper, Eunice Frady,
Nadine Galloway, Tracy Galloway, Sarah Malmin, Kathy Merrill, Karen and Steve Owen,
Shanaia and Dwayne Powell, Bobby and Angie Reese, Sandy Rowe, Janet Tinsley, and
Saranne Whitney.
Attention Kids!! Wednesday evening meetings for children will resume this week, January 21, at 6:30 PM, downstairs in the Faith Followers Classroom. All kids K-5th grade
are invited to come join the group! See you there!
There will be a church-wide movie night on Friday, January 23. “God’s Not Dead” will
be shown at 7 PM in the sanctuary.
Attention ladies: The Bible study, "Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed; A Study of David," featuring video sessions hosted by Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore, and Kay Arthur, will
begin Tuesday, January 27 at 6:30 PM, in Carson Hall. This is a 6-session study that will
be held each Tuesday night from 6:30-7:45, January 27- March 3. Tara Jelley will be facilitating, and childcare will be provided in the nursery by Caroline and Susannah Jelley.
Member workbooks are $13. If you plan to attend, please sign up on the registration
form at the Welcome Center desk, and note if you will need childcare.
Operation Christmas Child Item Collection
Last year our monthly collection of items for Samaritan’s Purse Christmas boxes was a
great success, with us packing over 100 boxes from BWC! In 2015 our goal is to surpass
that number, and so we will once again be collecting different items each month. January and February will be combined and the items to bring are: hair brushes; combs; hair
bands, bows & clips; coloring books, crayons, markers. Please place your items in the
designated plastic container, located in the sanctuary foyer.
