The Christmas in the Mountains the day will lead up to the spectacle Total 441 Festival on the Square takes place Sat- of lights and music with the annual Schedule of Activities urday, Dec. 6, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Local performances by the White County Intermediate School chorus, Elvis impersonator Mark Eskew and more will take place throughout the evening. Visit the merchants around the square for various activities at each location. Play the Naughty or Nice game and win prizes, decorate a sugar cookie or enjoy some hot chocolate. Many of the activities are free. Santa will be available for free pictures (donations accepted to benefit Community Helping Hands Clinic). Arts and crafts vendors will be at various locations around the square. Food vendors along with crafts vendors will be present for a festive evening of shopping and treats. Children are sure to enjoy the bungee jump, pony/reindeer rides and more that will be located in the North Pole Playground on the west side of the Square. The event will be full of fun and surprises for the young and young at heart. All of the Christmas in the Mountains activities planned throughout Lighted Christmas Parade beginning at 7 p.m. This year’s theme will be “Holiday Songs and Movies.” The Chamber will be judging the floats and presenting plaques in three different categories during the parade.
