(A Govt. of Odisha undertaking) OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE ENGINEER LIFT IRRIGATION DIVISION JAJPUR ROAD TENDER CALL NOTICE NO. 5983 / Dt.22.12.2014 Sealed tenders in the prescribed form are invited for execution of Civil works, Installation and energisation of Projects in Turn Key basis from the reputed contractors having valid PWD license of required class along with valid electrical H.T. license with experience in execution similar nature of work will be preferred. The tender papers for all the works along with terms and conditions, scope of works, technical specifications etc. can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Lift Irrigation Division, Jajpur Road / Cuttack on payment of the cost of the tender papers (+5 % VAT) (non refundable) as per the detailed tender call notice in shape of Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Executive Engineer, L.I. Division, Jajpur Road to be drawn at Jajpur Road on any Nationalised Bank on any working day ( 10:00 A.M. to 05:00 PM.) from 30.12.2014 to 05.01.2015 The tender paper will be sold on receipt of written request (mentioning the name of work), to Executive Engineers concerned along with the Xerox copies of the valid license of required class and H.T. license, VAT clearance certificate and PAN Card. No tender paper will be sold after 05.01.2015 All the tender papers will be received by L.I. Division, Jajpur Road from 11:00 A.M. to 02:00 P.M. on 06.01.2015 and will be opened on dt. 07.01.2015 at 11:00 A.M in the office of the Executive Engineer, Lift Irrigation Division Jajpur Road in presence of the tenderers or their authorised representatives if any. Tender through Post/Courier will be accepted which should reach the division offices by date 06.01.2015 up to 02:00 PM. . The authority will not be held responsible for any postal/Courier delay for receipt of Tender beyond the above stipulated date and time. The Tender paper if required by mail will be despatched by Regd. Post on payment of an extra amount of Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred) only (Non refundable) for each set of tender paper towards registration charges No. Tender will be received by Fax or e-mail. Tenders must be delivered in the Tender Box over which the detailed Tender Notice No.& date is written. Engineer contractors who are willing for exemption of EMD should furnish an affidavit regarding number of tenders awarded to him with exemption of EMD in the current financial year along with the Tender .Any amendment to codal provisions by the Govt. during the period from sale of tender till acceptance by the competent authority shall be binding upon the tender. Physically handicapped and S.C. & S.T. contractor should furnish relevant documents along with the tender for exemption of EMD etc. The EMD @1% of estimated cost and the amount of 1.5times for extra which exceeded over 10% less (90% of estimated cost-bid value) has to be deposited along with the tender paper(work wise) separately (not included with the EMD Value ) in shape of Bank Draft / Banker’s cheque payable in any Nationalised Bank situated at Jajpur Road drawn in favour of the Executive Engineer, L.I. Division, Jajpur Road or NSC/KVP/FD should be pledged for EMD only in favour of the Executive Engineer, L.I. Division, Jajpur Road in absence of which the tender will summarily be rejected. The sealed envelope containing the tender documents should be super scribed with Tender Notice No, Name of the work, Date and time of opening of tender on top right hand corner. The tenderer participating for more than one Bore Well Project work should submit the same in separate sealed covers each containing the required documents and the required EMD for that work. The percentage rates should be quoted as per the terms and conditions supplied with the tender schedule clearly in the prescribed column failing which Tender will summarily cancelled. Any deviation such as silent regarding filling of rate may not be considered. Any amendment to codal provisions by the Government during the period from sale of tender till acceptance by the competent authority shall be binding upon the tender. Validity of the tender should be 180(ninety) days from the last date of receipt of tender. Attested copies of valid VATCC, PAN card and valid Contractor License, Labour Contract License shall be furnished along with the tender. The tender will not be considered unless the Tenderer encloses true copies of the valid Contractor registration certificate, Labour license. The original certificates are to produced before the Executive Engineer, L.I. Division, Jajpur Road at the time of opening of Tenders. No benefit such as Veto/ exemption of EMD to Schedule Cast, P.H. and Engineering License holder will be allowed as this is a Firm Status Work executed through Joint venture Deed. The installation and energisation works of the Bore Well Projects are to be completed within 30 days time from the date of issue of the work order. The interested Contractors should bear in mind while filling the Tender as the work is of “Time Bound in Nature”. The undersigned reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of work accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.
