Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and
Technology (erstwhile C. R. State College of Engineering)
was established through an Act of Haryana State

Legislature on 6 November, 2006 to facilitate and promote
studies and research in emerging areas of higher education
with focus on new frontiers of Science, Engineering,
Technology, Architecture and Management studies. The
University is recognized under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
The University has been accorded ‘Affiliating Status’ by Act
of Haryana State Legislature on 3rd August, 2011. The
University provides an outstanding learning environment for
multifaceted development of students, thus emerging as a
centre of excellence. The University is spread over 273
acres and has a fully residential campus with ample built up
space in a contemporary architectural idiom. It has 16
teaching departments under 6 different Faculties.
In
addition to research facilities leading to enrollment of 181
research scholars, the University is presently running 24
Postgraduate, 9 undergraduate & 2 integrated programmes
on regular basis and 3 Postgraduate and 5 Undergraduate
programmes in part-time mode in Engineering, Science,
Architecture and Management with a strength of about 3500
students. The University has highly qualified faculty, well
equipped library, computer centre with high speed internet
facility, faculty rooms, classrooms, & substantial sports
facilities etc. The University is funded under TEQIP of
MHRD of Government of India being funded by the World
Bank. Various departments have successfully undertaken
many UGC / AICTE / DST / DBT sponsored projects.

The Department of Electronics & Communication
Engineering occupies a prominent place within the overall
structure of the erstwhile CRSCE since 1987 & DCRUST
since 2006. The Department offers Bachelor of Technology
Programme with an intake of 60. Department also offers
Master of Technology Programmes i.e M.Tech in Electronics
& Communication Engineering with an intake of 36 and
M.Tech in ECE (VLSI Design) with an intake of 18. The UG
programme is also NBA accredited whereas the NBA
accreditation of PG programme is under process. The
course curriculum has been designed incorporating
inputs from academia & industries in such a way that
optimum magnitude has been assigned to basic as well
as advance course so as to keep the students abreast of
basics as well as advances in the specific areas of
technology. The department strives to keep various
courses up-to-date so that these reflect current
developments. The faculty constantly endeavors &
engages itself in curriculum design. The department has
well equipped and spacious laboratories with all modern
facilities for experimentation at UG and PG levels. The
laboratories have been modernized using liberal grants
from World Bank under TEQIP and from the State
Government and other funding agencies. Besides
teaching, the department is also actively engaged in
research activities. The department provides in-house
industrial training during summer vacations to acquaint
the students with the basic knowledge of tools to carry
out advance research.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
National Conference on Advances in Electronics &
Communication Technologies (NCAECT-2015) aims to
provide an opportunity to academic and industrial
communities alike, to address recent trends, challenges
and emerging technologies in the areas of Electronics
and
Communication
Technologies,
Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science and other relevant
fields. The conference emphasis on invited talks, expert
lectures & technical research paper presentations. The
objective of NCAECT-2015 is to bring together the
researchers from academia and industry as well as
practitioners to share ideas, problems and solutions
relating to the multifaceted aspects of Electronics and

author is required to register even if there are multiple
authors.

NCAECT invites full length original research contributions
from engineering professionals, industries, R&D
organizations, academic Institutions, government
departments and research scholars. The soft copy of full
length manuscripts in doc/docx format (original research
contributions and review articles) not exceeding six
pages shall be submitted through email to
[email protected]. The manuscript should not
have been published in any journals/magazines or
conference proceedings and not under review in any of
the above. Please see instructions for authors and details
at www.dcrustm.org. All the accepted and presented
papers will be published in conference proceedings.
