Your contribution will have a significant impact on the quality of life programs we are able to provide for our priests in the new year and beyond. If you were out of town this Christmas, or did not have the opportunity to participate, you are welcome to make a donation online at www.clergyfunds.org. On behalf of the priest of the Archdiocese, thank you for your generosity. PRAYERREQUESTFORPRIESTS The Monthly Prayer Request for Priests Apostolate is an international apostolate which was founded in 1990 to encourage people to support Catholic priests by prayer and sacrifice. Each diocese prays for its own priests. Each day of the year bears the name of a priest from that diocese. Thus, by means of the calendar, the faithful are united in offering prayer and sacrifice for the particular "priest of the day," always remembering to include the general intention of prayer for all priests of the diocese and around the world. It’s a simple, yet powerful, means of spiritual and emotional support for priests. You can find a copy of the Prayer Request at the rear of the Church and in the downstairs bookcase. MAKETHISONEOFYOURFAMILY’S NEWYEAR’SRESOLUTIONS We need kids of all ages to bring the Gifts to the Altar at the 9:30 Family Mass. Please just “take our fish” and let an usher know. This will let everyone know that someone is already set to bring the Gifts to the Altar. When you go back to get the Gifts, please be sure you return the fish! This is a great idea for our young people who will be receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation this year, as they can play important role and be more actively involved in the Mass.
