caa workshop: mixed-media folding books

CAA WORKSHOP:
MIXED-MEDIA
FOLDING BOOKS
A one-day workshop with
International mixed-media
artist, Erella Teitler
In this one day "hands-on" workshop we will create an 8-page, Mixed-Media Folding Book.
Each participant will choose a theme ahead of the workshop to create their personalized book and
learn many other ideas for future books. These books are keepsakes, and for sharing memories.
Erella will show us how to present the book as a gift. We will use inexpensive, readily-available
materials to achieve a layered and textured one-of-a-kind book. There will be no sewing or binding
(unless a participant chooses to embellish the book with sewing). Erella will demonstrate how to
transform scrap booking papers, doilies and embellishments into distinctive additions to the book.
She will also introduce products that will enhance those embellishments and make them unique.
