As we begin this new journey together, I am eager to witness God working in your life and in the life of His family here at Hendersonville. A fresh start is something that resonates well with all, and together we have that opportunity as we start this new year. I am grateful to you for all the prayers that have been lifted up for my family and me over the past several months. We have felt your love and support and share in your excitement. The future here is as bright as the possibilities of God, and I anticipate His blessings on our work as together we go about sharing His love with our community. Drew Crosby Wednesday Nights - Winter Quarter The Greatest Stories Ever Told The greatest stories ever told were told by Jesus. These stories are known as parables and comprise over one-third of the recorded teachings of Jesus in the gospels. While containing profound lessons, they are simple and easily understood. For the next few Wednesday nights in the auditorium we are looking at some of the more familiar parables and seek to read the familiar ones more closely in an attempt to gain the lessons Jesus intended. There are other classes available, and depending on your preferences, we encourage you to consider them. Sunday morning adult teachers and those interested in teaching are meeting in Room 420 on Wednesday nights to prepare for their upcoming class. There is a ladies’ class led by Wynne Callis meeting in Room 101 studying a book entitled “Living Stones” by Casandra Martin, which encourages diving deeply into the spiritual practices that build a vibrant faith. A men’s class led by Dennis Johnson is meeting in Room A and is studying various “Teaching Methods to Lead People to Christ.” We encourage you to be a part of our Wednesday night classes.
