Jenny Parkes Dr Fergus Scott BSc (Rad), DMU MBBS, FRANZCOG, DDU, CMFM, COGU Jenny has many years’ experience as a clinical sonographer, educator/tutor, ultrasound facility manager and is currently the Tutor Sonographer with Monash Health. She works one day per week with Maroondah BreastScreen. Previous recent employment with ASMI has enhanced her love of teaching and extensive experienced gained with MIA Victoria helped give her the expertise to do so. Jenny is also the unit manager for the Monash University Masters of Ultrasound course in small parts imaging. She has a passion to teach and help sonographers gain greater skills and understanding. Dr Elisabeth Rippy BSc, MBBS, MSc, FRCS, FRACS Elisabeth is a UK trained breast surgeon with specialist training in reconstruction. Her current practice is exclusively focussed on benign and malignant breast disease, specialising in breast reconstruction. Elisabeth was a consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide for the last four years where she also taught surgery for the University of Adelaide as a clinical senior lecturer. Elisabeth now lives and works in Sydney at Breast Screen, the Sydney Breast Clinic and North Sydney. PROUDLY SPONSORED BY Fergus is a graduate of Monash University and specialised in O&G. Subspecialisation was in both maternal fetal medicine and O&G ultrasound. He became a partner in Sydney Ultrasound for Women in 1996 and is a staff specialist in the Imaging Department at the Royal Hospital for Women. Currently Fergus is a member of the COGU subspecialty, examiner for COGU and Past President of ASUM. Areas of interest include invasive testing in pregnancy, 3/4D imaging and first trimester screening including NIPT. Delwyn Nicholls BAppSc (Rad), Grad Dip Med US, Grad Dip HEd, DMU(Vas) Delwyn began her career as a diagnostic radiographer, has been scanning for more than 20 years and is currently completing a research PhD in clinical education through the School of Rural Medicine at Flinders University, Adelaide. She works at Sydney Ultrasound for Women as a senior sonographer and tutor sonographer for the registrar O&G training program. Delwyn has a particular interest in sonographer education, research, fetal neurosonography, multifetal pregnancy and fetal duplex. A/Prof Sue Campbell Westerway AMS PhD (Medicine), MAppSc (Research), BAppSc (NMT), DMU Sue is ASUM President, a sonographer with a PhD in Medicine and has a major interest in obstetrics. Her research includes formulating the fetal biometry charts for an Australian population, adopted by ASUM in 2001. Sue was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, which allowed her to study echocardiography at major overseas heart units. Having qualified in agriculture Sue was involved in introducing ultrasound to the Australian veterinary field. With a passion for teaching she is a tutor and examiner for many Australian and international universities and colleges, is the author of numerous journal articles and has presented extensively both nationally and internationally.
