Sanctuary Bells The Sanctuary Bells of Gordon Street Christian Church will perform at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 14 at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library. The Sanctuary Bells, founded in 1974, is an advanced handbell ensemble from Gordon Street Christian Church in Kinston. Under the direction of Joanne M. Heath, Minister of Music, the ensemble is composed of experienced volunteer handbell ringers. Please join us in enjoying an afternoon of beautiful holiday music. Rick & Jane Vernon and Friends On Sunday, December 21 at 3 p.m. Rick & Jane Vernon will present an afternoon with Friends at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library. They will perform traditional Christmas carols and lead the audience in sing-a-longs. Joining the Vernons on stage will be vocalist/guitarist Vance “Tres” Rich and drummer John Galog.
