Striving to propagate Art
“The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection.” Michelangelo
Michelangelo whose works embodied the Renaissance in Art that fearlessly portrayed life as it is. Inspired by the
great maestro, we at Artscapes have been passionately propagating the diverse and unbounded field of art. The
appreciation from artists, art lovers for the various events/workshops organized by Artscapes, and the positive
coverage by media has emboldened us to raise the bar for future events. We believe that our team's zeal, sincerity,
transparency, professional approach and support by the art community will definitely make Artscapes do more
meaningful each passing year.
Artscapes
A non-profit, non-government organization, which promotes artists by providing a platform that fosters excellence
in various spheres of art, is indeed moving ahead each year. In the past few years, we have successfully organized
exhibitions that have showcased the works of Indian artists from all across the country as well as those living in
other countries. These exhibitions have been patronized by eminent personalities from varied spheres.
His Excellency Shivraj V. Patil, Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh and Hon'ble Manish Tewari,
Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India inaugurated the All India Women Artists'
Contemporary Art Exhibition 2014 & 2013 respectively and praised the Artscapes team for the event.
Justice MMS Bedi, Justice Ajay Tewari, Justice Rajiv Raina, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Canadian Consulate have
been consistently patronizing our efforts.
One of the Artscapes’ objectives, to bring art to newer audience, has been achieved by innovative events wherein
art is promoted along big events in a bid to touch more lives like Jugalbandi Fusion Nite with Salil Bhatt, IGP
Invitational Golf tournament, which is one of the biggest events in North India. Artscapes launched Ludhiana Art
Beat (LAB), a platform to identify and promote talented artists in Punjab, which was followed by an exhibition
Freedom of Expression, which also had a workshop conducted by eminent artist Kalicharan Gupta. Eminent artists
Shobha Broota, Prof Biman B. Dass and Prof. Prem Singh headed the jury for the All India Art Exhibitions.
The Event
The fourth in the series of All India Women Artists' Contemporary Art Exhibition 2015, promises to get a spectacular
response. Gauging from the queries, mails, phone calls, from the artists across India, we anticipate a participation
of women artists from across the length and breadth of our country. We hope that the event would become a source
of inspiration for all aspiring women artists and provide them a platform to showcase their talent. This exhibition
would go a long way in promoting the cause of art amid women folk and we at Artscapes are proud to invite entries
for the same.
